Good wonton place actually exist! 5/22/2009

Most people probably don't know this place, as it's one of the smaller cash only shops in China town. But here is the secret, they've got the best wonton noodle soup in town. After reading the reviews here on judy's book, we came for a late night snack (they open until 11pm everyday). Friendly service, low key, and fast service. Made to order and the price was cheap! Wonton was soft and tender, you can taste the individual ingredients inside, and the soup base is just wonderful. If only there is a way to transfer the flavor over this review. more

The best place for Wonton Soup 5/22/2009

I was raised in a city were you could get wonton soup at any restaurant in Chinatown so I expected the same when I moved to Seattle. I was sorely disappointed and realized how much I took the wonton soup at home for granted! I discovered this restaurant recently and thought the wonton soup to be just the same as at home - delicious pork wontons, noodles cooked just right and the soup was spot on. The regular size is a bit on the small side so if you're going fo ra full meal, probaly you might want to go for the large size. I would have ordered more but they only accepted cash and I only had $6 on me. more

Best WonTons I Have Ever Had! 11/27/2006

These are without a doubt the best WonTons in all of Seattle. The menu looks very intimidating at first as there are so many options. For first times, best to start simple with the WonTon Noodle Soup & then work your way around the menu to determine your favorites. The service is really fast & you can even watch them cooking through the window in the open kitchen. Plus, it is really inexpensive and very filling. more

Cheap & Delicious! 5/19/2006

On a cold day this place is great to stop in for a hot, heaping bowl of noodles and wontons. The menu is simple - choose your noodle type (egg noodles are the norm, but you can also get rice noodles or one other kind I can't remember right now), then choose what kind of wontons you want with them. Its tasty, filling, and it's hard to find anything more than $5 or so. more

The best wontons in Seattle 8/15/2005

Hands down the best wontons in Seattle are at Canton Wonton. They are made of pork, a little shrimp and dab of sesame oil. Mmmm, they’re just great. The Sui Kau are good too, but not as good as the Wontons. There’s a variety of Congee—I’ve only tried the plain congee and it’s very comforting. The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the broth is tasty. They started putting a bed of lettuce in the soup bowls rather than the more traditional bok choy. I just say no lettuce and large soup. It’s cheap, good and fast. Don't look any further than noodle soups and congee--there isn't anything else on the menu. more
