Best

Goodness I'm starting to think Citysearch is run by Morons for allowing these bad posts without some kind of filter. Love Campisis. Good family good food!

Worst

My new office is within walking distance to this restaurant.\r \r People from my office rave about their italian food and especially their pizza and how they have been in busine...

CRAB CLAWS 3/12/2006

I WOULD DIE TO TASTE THEM. THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE WORLD. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME FLOWN IN, THATS HOW GOOD THEY ARE. YUM more

Best Pizza in the NATION 2/27/2006

I travel extensively, and Campisi's ranks right at the top vs any New York or Chicago Pizza restaurant. Also, on the editorial they list Campisis as serving since 1964.....it should be 1946. The parking is bad, assuredly, but is also a reflection of the fact that they are SOOO busy all the time. The Chicken Marsala is out of this world. Actually, everything on the menu is phenomenal. My first time going there my Mom says I loved it. I was 2. I am 35 now and live 50 miles away, but I still go once a week! Pros: Food, Staff, Ambience Cons: Parking more

Overated Based on word of mouth tradition. 1/11/2006

Ultimately mediocore!!!! I was born and raised in Big D. And it seems to be expected that you ""say"" you like this place to be ""cool"" . Well I got to say it even for ""comfort Food"" this place is just Mediocre at best!!! more

Best Pizza Ever! 8/10/2005

I've been eating at Campisi's since I was 3 years old--what can I say, I love that place! Everything on the menu is great, but if you're in the mood for pizza, go for the italian sausage and green onions. Trust me, you'll love it. And don't leave without getting an order of crab claws for starters and a salad to go with your pizza. And if you get the chance, request to sit in the large round booth right under Joe Campisi's picture--it's the best seat in the house! more

Newest ""Campisi's"" not up to par 7/2/2005

Looked forward to going to ""Campisi's"" newest location in Kennedale. Very disappointed, won't be going back. Pros: Name, Salad, Garlic bread Cons: Pizza, Location more

Well Known but there are better 5/26/2005

this establishment has been here for years that certainly says something BUT I would not rank it currently among the best in Dallas. Like an old shoe, comfortable but worn. Pros: comfortable Cons: parking more

Family favorite 7/15/2003

My husband has been going here for 35 years. His favorite is the salami pizza and it is great. I always get a childs portion pasta w/ mushrooms and the salad is great too. Pros: Food, Service, Inexpensive Cons: Parking more

Truly outstanding unique flavor 2/9/2003

Having eaten only once thus far at the original Campisi's, I found it to be a wonderful change from the ""cookie cutter"" pizza places i.e. Pizza Hut, Domino's, Cici's, etc. The pizza has a unique flavor which has been rumored to be an anchovie paste in the mix. The restaurant is dark, making for an intimate atmosphere. Parking lacks a lot to be desired but, can be worked around. Pros: Excellent food, Moderately priced Cons: Lousy parking more
