I went to Cameo Cafe Northwest to have brunch with family. I got the only vegan item on the breakfast menu - tofu scramble. (There is about 4 other vegetarian items on breakfast menu and a couple on lunch menu.) My plate was practically filled with the shoestring hashrown potatoes, which was the best part of the meal. The small serving of tofu scramble had a few veggies sauteed with soft tofu. It tasted watery and didn't have any flavor. It tasted much better when I mixed up the scramble & potatoes with ketchup and hot sauce. There are restaurants around town that have better tofu scrambles. My family enjoyed what they got - belgian waffles, bacon, eggs, ect.- so they would give it a entirely different review. The decor and house is neat, but there was a long wait on a Sat morn and the seating is crowded.
Pros: had vegetarian items, service, decor
Cons: parking, crowded, the wait
