I had some problems with my back derailer, hub, gears and brakes. New to Belmont, I had no idea where to go for local service/repair. I found these guys on google or something and...

Decent bike prices and friendly service 7/14/2008

My wife and I purchased our bikes here. We were looking for low-end Treks that we could use on rides with the kids - nothing too fancy. They directed us to the right models without trying to upsell us on equipment we don't need. I checked around at several other shops on the peninsula and in SF and found that their prices were the best for the bikes we wanted. Plus we saw one of their coupons in those coupon mailer packets that offered a free helmet with purchase of bike. They sell other sporting goods as well as bikes. Compared to Chain Reaction Bikes in RWC I don't think they have as much expertise on bikes. Several of the bikes on the floor seemed like they were put together without the fine tuning. Definitely test drive your bike before leaving the shop as ours needed several adjustments. Don't be afraid to tell them about anything you see wrong. They will absolutely do it. They also offer a free 2 month tune up which is nice. more

A great place for bike repairs! 7/28/2006

I had some problems with my back derailer, hub, gears and brakes. New to Belmont, I had no idea where to go for local service/repair. I found these guys on google or something and went on down with my broke-down-bike. The repairs ended up being more extensive then I had thought initially, but these guys did all it took to get the bike up and running, and in perfect shape again. Thanks guys! more
