Calibers Indoor Range

The review posted below this one from Guest and entitled "Terrible Experience" was my review. I wish I had signed in as a member and not a guest so I could delete it now. I received a phone call from Lisa, one of the owners of Calibers who saw my review. Not only was she one of the sweetest people, but she sincerely apologized for my negative experience. She explained some things about the person who I spoke with that explained my experience. I felt so much better after speaking with her, and I would recommend Calibers to anyone. A business is a good business if they are willing to reach out and apologize when things don't go right. Thank you. more

I would rather pay 100 percent more at ANY gun range than ever go back to this place. I joined this range for 3 months and signed up for a concealed carry class. The day before my concealed carry class, my father was admitted to the hospital because of serious complications with his lung cancer. Even being grief stricken, I called to let Calibers know that I would not be in attendance at the class because my father was in the hospital. I had already paid for the class, and did not make any mention of a refund or attending a different class. The person on the phone then immediately started lecturing me on how I should have given them more advanced notice so they could have put someone else in the class. This was after I told them I had a family emergency with my father in the hospital! It was so unprofessional and rude. Under no uncertain terms I will never go back to this establishment again! more

Caliber's is a great place for both new and experienced shooters in the Triad area. I've been there quite a few times now and also completed their concealed carry permit course. The owner and staff are very knowledgeable and experienced shooters and are just all around good people. I would recommend Caliber's to anyone in the Triad looking to practice their shooting skills or to get into shooting for the first time. more

Good: Appearance of facility.. Bad: This is without a doubt the most arrogant, cocky, egotistical, rude, demeaning staff I have ever encounted! The tall guy (do not know if he is the owner or not) with the red beard, is a MAJOR tool! This guy is unbelievable. I know this is the only range in the area and because it is, they will have plenty of business. But people should really consider going somewhere else, considering the way they treat customers. This guy was so rude, he was confrontational and antagonistic, in front of my children also.. Improvements: To see them go out of business! You just are not supposed to treat customers like I and my two adult children were treated and talked down to in front of other customers! The attitude of business' today is unbelievable. I am a 49 year man and have never been treated like I was by this @#$%^&*. I can honestly say nothing good about Calibers.. Other: It was fortunate that this all happened because I found a really nice range in Yadkinville that was very nice to thier customers. They were appreciative of my business with very good manners. The way customers should be treated by a proprieter.. more

My first visit to Calibers was a great experience. Because of a couple poor reviews online. I made a few phone calls to some existing members before visiting for the first time and received only rave reviews about the facility and the people that run it. I'd recommend the range to anyone ! The staff was courteous and quick to respond to my needs. After only considering a visitors membership, I've initially joined for 3 months, nice option for only a few dollars more The ventilation systems makes the range a little chilly while shooting, I suggest a warm sweater and something around your neck. Caliber's gun range is a wonderful place if you like guns. My mom and I took a class at Caliber's on how to defend yourself if you are a woman at home. We learned how to turn kitchen utensils into weapons and how to aim and shoot the guns correctly. The class was inexpensive and we got to hear a lot of the law. Like did you know that if someone is standing directly outside your door naked and holding a gun, you cannot shoot them? They can even shoot inside your house and you cannot shoot back because you are defending your turf. Look it up. more
