Caffe Cozzolino 8/19/2008

What a find! We were welcomed as if we'd been coming in for years. It's so nice to find a lovely small restaurant in San Francisco, that you can recommend to friends and add to the agenda for future visits. more

Hard workers 7/11/2008

I'm very disappointed with these reviews, i think it's very unfair, i've known the owners for 25 years. I don't know what these people expect , when they go to Chili's or Chevy's they wait for 45 minutes to an hour and eat garbage. This food is ten times better than Olive Garden, it is homemade, authentic italian food. The prices are fair, with soup or salad included. You can have as much bread as you'd like, unlike other restaurants that charge you for the second basket. It's a free country and everyone has their likings and can go wherever they desire, but do not say things that aren't true. Just because they might've been having a bad day . God Bless You more

bad food, undercooked pizza, nutmeg flavored everything? 7/17/2007

If you like Italian food, go somewhere else. Pros: cheap, great locaton, easy to get into Cons: bad food, bad food, bad food. more

Precita Park sorely needs a great restaurant, but this is not it! 6/23/2007

I live right around the corner from here - so sometimes sheer wishful thinking will tempt me to return. Then I snap out of it and remind myself about the horrible service and barely adequate food. Don't do it! Pros: I guess it's kind of cute inside. Cons: Horrible service (how do they stay in business?) Just barely okay food. more

A Big Disappointment 12/31/2006

My husband and I just returned from dinner at Caffe Cozzolino. We are visiting from Texas and chose this restaurant based on the excellent reviews we read on CitySearch. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations. Pros: Ambience Cons: Parking, Service more

Better-than-average Italian in a warm, cozy setting . . . 7/11/2006

The words ""cozy,"" ""comfortable"" and ""homey"" will keep coming up when you visit Caffe Cozzolino. Neither the decor nor the food is fancy but both are warm and welcoming. The calimari comes out hot and crispy -- as it should -- and they present a full menu of tradtional pasta sauces. Recommended as a great neighborhood place, even if it isn't your neighborhood. Pros: attentive service, great value more
