Cafe Loco

Very, Very upset of the service and the appearance of this place. I visited on June 24, 2009 with my grandchildren (5). Upon entering we seated ourselves (which I think what is done there). Way-by-and-by, a waitress came to get our order and drinks. Shortly, after we received our drinks. One other group of 4 or 5 came in after us about 10 minutes and another group of about 3 five minutes after that. We still had not received our food. About 10 minutes later the last party was served their order and and about 5 minutes the other party was served their food. Still NO FOOD for us. My one grandaughter mention to me that we were in the restaurant before these people and why hadn't we been served. It had been about 20-25 minutes. I spoke with our waitress and she said she would check on it. About another 10 minutes another person came to our table and I again nicely but firmly expressed by distressed. She went away and never came back. We ended up just getting up and leaving. I was embarrassed and concerned about the possible effect that this would have on my grandchildren. Furthermore, ALL of the people and patrons were white and we are black. I would not recommend this place to a DOG, less not any of my friends white or black. Pros: Very poor service. Cons: Place is dark & not clean more

This is a really neat place to go and relax. They have a great bar and lots of tables. It is hard to find, but, well worth the search. The baby back ribs fell off the bone and the sauce was absolutely delicious. The portions of food are huge. The waitstaff very helpful and extremely nice. This restaurants is on the water and has a pretty view. Neat t-shirts to purchase. Pros: View, food, bar & staff Cons: Hard to find, but, worth the trouble more
