Incredible Nook 12/15/2009

Stumbled into this incredible nook the other day.... the setting was a quaint vibe that reminded me of my vacations in France. Very Nostalgic, and the people were extremely warm and friendly. I ordered a CAPPUCCINO & FETA CHESSE OMELETE as a gorgeous young lady suggested i try. Fatastic choice. It was delicious. CAFE FULYA is my new passion..... thank you for the experience. Pros: Extremely warm & Friendly more

Homemade Sandwiches & Soups 12/15/2009

The coffee is great and they have a ton of flavors. When you go, make sure you are hungry. They have homemade sandwiches and soups - and the desserts are incredible. They really do make everything from scratch. Thanks for giving back to the community and for making it a great place to visit. Pros: Desserts are incredible more

Special Occasion 12/15/2009

Atmosphere, setup, service and, of course, food were outstanding and very memorable. Most certainly deserves to be on the list for a ""special"" occasion venue, like a first date. Share the strawberry coconut cake with a cup of Turkish coffee. You will be amazed..... Maki Pros: Atmosphere, service, food more

Great little Turkish cafe 12/3/2009

Not sure why that other person ranked this so bad, this little spot is basically the perfect cafe. It is a great place to go for a coffee/lunch/dessert date or chat with friends. I went there for the first time the day after Thanksgiving, the place was filled at lunchtime, and many were Turkish (including my Turkish teacher! Quelle coincidence). I wish there were more things for veggie types like me (especially vegans, I'm not a strict one though) but that's really more a limitation of the cuisine. Can't wait to go back! Pros: Good bread, authentic foods, nice atmosphere Cons: Not many vegan options more

GoodTurkish cafe 10/17/2009

Have eaten here once and were pleased. My husband is Turkish and we particularly liked the manti (little filled dumplings served with garlic-yogurt and spicy butter). Kofte (meatballs) were good too. The chocolate fudge dessert was dry. I've heard the breakfasts are really good. I know they serve poached eggs with garlic yogurt and spicy sauce, which I've made at home and love- can't wait to try here. (I know it may sound strange to Americans, but it is a REALLY good dish.) The 1-star review here may have been written by a competing Turkish restaurant down the street - I wouldn't believe it. (Look at how vague it is!) Pros: manti was excellent; kofte (meatballs) good too Cons: Chocolate dessert not great, but chocolate isn't very Turksh more

  • Delicious! Cafe Fulya is a delight for all the senses. The decor is hip and contemporary, yet cozy and warm. The owners are incredibly friendly (sidenote: I hear that Fulya's brother owns Divan) and the food is excellent. We ordered a medley of...
