Located in the middle of the city next to theaters and local concerts venues is a divine treat. Cafe Zenon has the most respected staff and managers. The cooks are clean and concerned mainly about the cuisine elevated to perfection. Try a lamb rack for dinner and you will be amazed at the attention to detail. Best dinner i have had in Eugene, Period! the easy going LOUD atmosphere isnt exactly my favorite. but the food is too amazing to pass up, too loud for a quiet date. more

Go here for breakfast, order the Santa Barabara benedict even if it is not on the menu, best egg dish on the face of the planet. \r \r Zenon used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the staff changed, and some people moved up the management chain. The new managers were terrible, did not appreciate their regular customers in the same way, I felt unappreciated. The old managers always made me feel valued and welcome, and gave me that little bit of special treatment that makes you feel like they really want your business and more importantly want you to have an amazing, and memorable experience. \r \r Some manager wtih a Beard is a serious A-hole, he had a weird name and I can't remember it now. Once I went in and was seated, we waited about 10 minutes to place our order and then they told us breakfast was over and they weren't willing to make the exception. I haven't been back since, also the kitchen staff has high turnover and sometimes the lunch kitchen crew isn't quite up to the same standards as the dinner staff. more

I liked the entree that I had. However, I am not totally convinced the price of the food or the service was worth the trip downtown. I was unable to locate any free parking for the restraunt. I was impressed with the food I ordered. The service was a little slow but was due to the lunch rush. I would go there again if I am not in a time crunch. Great desserts, and serves a great cup of coffee. The service is excellent, always promt and curteous. But i wasn't impressed with the entres, had veal over cus-cus. it was alright but not justified the price. for the amount of money i would have rather gone to cafe soriah's instead and had better food and more money left over more

Zenon Cafe is known for its dessert case filled with excellent desserts. This is a restaurant that stays open until midnight on weekends so it makes for a good late night place to go to. There is often a crowd during dinner time and the noise level can match but there is still a good light filled atmosphere. Parking in this area can be difficult at times. more
