The food is overly price for what you get, I rather eat at the OLIVE GARDEN. The food is bland with no taste and very greasy. I wouldnt go there

What a Joyful night 4/28/2003

Great for a first date, went this past January 8th and had the halibut. Date had the special, which was spinach and mahi mahi. Service was more than adequate and the drinks were good, the apple martini was tasty by report. Overall, a fantastic evening in the middle of South beach. Italian food and a great evening. more

I'm in heaven 12/30/2002

I visit the place for my birthday and the minute i walk to the door i found a beautiful family runing this beautiful restaurant. Mother and Father are the chef and the two brothers runing the front. Exelent food, fantastic service, best prices and admosphere more

One of the best Italian restaurants 12/26/2002

The reviewer who thought Olive Garden was preferalble to Prima Pasta must either work for Olive Garden or be a 3 pack a day smoker whose taste buds are seriously damaged. He/she must also be BLIND. This restaurant has been around for at least 10 years and is busy 7 days a week. It is a little off the South Beach scene, but wealthy locals who could eat anywhere in town frequent this little jewel often. The food is great, the atmostsphere romantic, the crowd attractive and the management congenial. Indoor and outdoor seating. I always recommend this place to visitors from out-of-town: Locals already know about it ! Pros: great food, romantic, good value Cons: very busy on weekends more

The Best of the Best 8/5/2002

Cafe Prima Pasta is my favorite restaurant, my husband and I spend most special occasions there. The food is great, I highly recomend the Lemon Chicken or the Veal Picata. Both with make your mouth water. To have with your meal do not forget a bottle of their house wine it goes with all of their well prepared entree's. I know you will feel compelled to eat everything on your plate, but save room for their desserts, they are just what the doctor ordered. more
