The pizza is okay if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive midtown eat, but the service leaves much to be desired. I ate lunch here with a friend, and as we were getting up to leave, the server had the gall to say "You didn't leave enough tip," and he wouldn't let us leave until we threw another dollar on the table! Granted, we made a mathematical error, but the way he handled the situation was totally obnoxious! Maybe I should have pointed out the fact that he didn't refill my empty water glass until long after I finished my meal. In sum, there is no shortage of eateries serving decent pizza, pasta and sandwiches in NYC, so based on service alone, if you have a choice between Cafe Fonduta and another place, go to the other place!
Pros: Relatively inexpensive
Cons: Service leaves much to be desired
