My experiences of Cafe Atlantico have been great, but I can't say the same for everyone - I've been for both regular lunch and Restaurant Week dinner and the latter occasion turned out to a miss for my dining partner.
I've had Cafe Atlantico's salt air margarita, which was cool because of it's salty foam, and delicious because it was a pretty darn good margarita. Their Pupusas are excellent - a little on the salty side but each bite with a little bit of cabbage salad and foie gras fondant was very tasty.
With my Restaurant Week experience, the food was good but it didn't seem as great as it could be - the fritters were tasty and I had a fairly solid duck confit but I had actually eaten better elsewhere. My companion had ordered fish (I think it was salmon) and was not impressed - it came out undercooked and with a weird black sauce that was very salty (an olive dressing of some sort). Dessert on this occasion was forgettable but on my previous experience it was amazing - the coconut 2 ways is inventive and tastes fantastic.
Pros: great lunch meeting spot, excellent cocktails, good service
Cons: don't come for Restaurant Week
