As far as my entertainment experience I WILL NEVER plan ANY kind of party(s) in this place ever again. I have seen the reviews and they are ALL so very true. I just recently had a Bridal Reception and after all being said and done the workers and owner have a different method of adding and subtraction way different than the Basic Math. I had the best Birthday party at the Cadillac Bar! The food was great, the music was really good and the staff were so friendly and really helpful. I'll definitely do another event there in the future. Thanks again Cadillac Bar it was a night to remember! more

Used to be a good place, but the manager in charge that nite is one, .....well dont have to mention it!!! These place is becoming a very low ridiculous place to hang out, never going back and as for my family either, and spreading the word to all friends!!! The have boy toy securities that cant control a fight all of the staff runs to join in the fight instead of controling it, and as far as the manager in charge that nite, never seen a man this low and so chicken!!! Made a big scene in a fight called almost all of SAPD and at the end a WOMAN got hit by him and he immediately releases all charges, he was so scared to get charged by a real WOMAN!!! Also THESE PEOPLE SERVE ALCOHOL TO MINORS WITHOUT CARDING...19 year old drinking all night!!! And to that punk, grow up!! more

As a regular at Cadillac Bar this bar has great deals and wonderful food. I have never had any problems and the bartenders are great and fast and always tend to your needs. If your looking for a good place to have a party and listen to some awesome music/bands this is the spot, it screams Texas and the history of Texas. The owner is a great person and treats everyone the same and is always there unlike most places where the owner is out of site or not there. I recommend this place to anyone that has a loose personality and isn't stuck up and likes to try new things. more

We had our Wedding reception here ,we had paid for there DJ and he was playing what there regular customers liked. After WE HAD PAYED FOR HIM to play! People who where not in our wedding party were taking over the tables that were for our wedding guest! Never again, AND I would not recommend this place to anyone. The following day we had a get together and all the guest complained about there service, and the way there customers were taking over! If you do rent this place make sure you sit down and talk to Jesse, and not anyone else. Make sure you do get it in writing!!! My nephew had even booked there wedding here, but since they saw what had happened @ mine, they canceled and have found a new place.... more

My wife is from San Antonio and this was our first experience at this place. I actually made reservations back in June for my wife's birthday party, we placed a deposit, picked out the linens and selected the area recommended. In August, we called 3 different cell numbers and eventually a day or 2 later we would get a response confirming our reservation. We selected food from their catering list and thought it was a done deal....We get there at 7:00p.m. party starts at 7:30p.m. more

We visited Tuesday July 13, and parked in their free lot next door. This place is classic Texas. Very friendly bartender and great inexpensive drinks. Enjoyed it very much and the Ramos' Gin Fizz's were outstanding. Pros: Atmosphere and Cheap Drinks Cons: Patio Could Use a Cleaning more

My family and I reserved space there for a special event but when we arrived the tables were given to another party. After trying to get the owner/manager out of the kitchen for 15 minutes the only thing that was offered was an 80 dollar tab for 18 people. The bar pretty much took the money for the reservation of $100 dollars and only provided 4 tables with 8 chairs. The money was also supposed to be for the nice table linens which were never provided. If the establishment knew anything about customer satisfaction a full refund would have been given and a credit for drinks would have been given as well. The manager and staff were walking around the rest of the night smiling and laughing, which we think were partially at our expense. Granted this place was recommended by a family friend but in my opinion, if you are planning a special event, don't choose this rinky dink bar because they do not know anything about the hospitality business. My sisters and I held our parents' surprise anniversary party in one of the bar's party rooms. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful and the set-up of the room was exactly what we asked for. If you are on a budget then this is one place to check-out. There is no cost for room rental, you are only paying for the catering. Linens, set-up, and clean-up are also included. The DJ was a minimal fee and was very good. I was explained up front that my deposit of $200 was non-refundable, but could be used on food or drink if the event was canceled. Ok, so we are from out of town and wanted to book a rehearsal dinner at this Cadillac Bar & Restaurant location. We put down $200 to reserve the place and went by to check it out in person when we were in San Antonio. A red flag should have gone up when the management staff failed to return phone calls in a timely manner. Cons: dark, management customer service more

Great place to meet after work for drinks. Fantastic place to go to on Friday nights. Various bands play with music for everyone. Great D.J.! I don't know that it warrants 4.5 stars - but this is a great place for an afterwork drink downtown - away from the tourists and tourist prices. Bands, Beer, Friends and fun. If you're a real San Antonioan / Texan - the sound of your boots (or shoes) on the wood floor when you walk in let you know you're in the right place. Miss this place altogether! This spot has the unique distinction of being a place I have never had good food at and a place where no one I know has ever had a good word to say about it. The fact this place is still open is a complete mystery. more
