I love to hear all kinds of music,but this place doesnt do this.The dj knows his music,dont get me wrong.If this place is only going to be counrty then be it,dont let us think that other music will be played?Yes, i am a hispanic,and i like to hear some spanish music other than Selena?You play alot of hip hop as much as u do counrty. This place is a good place to hang out with friends and spend lots of my money.Maybe you sure tried one night of tejano and see if you get alot of people,we tejano love too spend MONEY! more

Joshua Thomas Domingue, 24, of Victoria was arrested on suspicion of deadly conduct discharge of a firearm, according to the police report released Sunday. Officers arrived at Cactus Canyon, 3613 N. Navarro St., about 2 a.m. Sunday after Jeff Cowan, a Victoria fire marshal, reported the incident. Cowan had several subjects on the ground and his gun drawn when police arrived. Robert Dillander, a manager for the bar, told police Domingue had pointed the handgun into the crowd and then fired a series of shots in the air. I went to Victoria, TX on business. I'm from Atlanta so when I go out on business, I don't have high expectations as far as "entertainment" is concerned. I was not sure what I would (or wouldn't find). The highlight of my two nights in Victoria was Cactus Canyon. Drinks were well priced ($5 Jager Bombs). It was only $3 to get in the door and the music was good. A little more country than I would have preferred, but I WAS in Victoria, Tx. Well done.
