Like Pringles, once you pop, you just can't stop... eating the chips and salsa at Cactus Cantina. This Glover Park favorite is the best place for Mexican Food in a fun, laid-back ...

Great food, but pricey 8/31/2005

I have been to Cactus Cantina many times and have found the food to be on the whole very good. Though occationally a dish won't be great, most of the time it is of a high standard. The service is pretty good, though the wait staff can be a bit abrupt, trying to turn tables as quickly as possible. The location is very nice and there is the option of sitting outside during the hot months which is of course great more

huge menu, kickin' margaritas 6/24/2005

For a large group Margarita and Mexican outing you really can't beat Cactus Cantina. Okay, for atmosphere, it's sister restaurant, Lauriol Plaza just north of Dupont, JUST might have it beat, but let's face it, the wait times are absolutely off the wall. Cactus Cantina serves a similar menu with the same awesome margaritas and a much calmer, laid back atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with friends. Try the seafood enchiladas (usually masquerading as the enchiladas de mariscos or something) or my absolute favorite, the crab and shrimp quesadillas, almost always on the daily special menu. If you're not a seafood lover, the cheese enchiladas are good, and I've never heard a complaint about the salads. more
