Without a doubt, CB Bell took phenomenal shots of our wedding and was incredibly personable and great to work with throughout the experience . . . that is, until it came time to order our reprints. CB screwed up half of them (wrong sizes, printed B&W instead of sepia, etc.), which he admitted to when I picked them up. He told me to look through them and let him know which ones needed to be re-done, and then he would deliver the corrected reprints. I foolishly trusted him and paid him in full. A few weeks later I gave him the list of re-do's, and have never heard from him since. I've e-mailed, called, even sent a certified letter (all very polite), and he has not responded to any communication.
We've been married for 6 years and STILL do not have a complete wedding album. Our great memories of working with this fantastic photographer are marred by sadness and frustration and questions . . . wondering what on earth inspired him to leave the job we paid for unfinished. It's bewildering, as we never had anything but great, positive interactions. We don't understand why he acted so hatefully and dishonorably toward us. I guess once he got his money, there was no need to be nice and honor our contract anymore. Really disappointing! If you use his services, make sure you get EVERYTHING delivered before you pay him!!
