Great produce but high prices 5/14/2006

Olson Cherries used to be one of the last farmland holdouts in Silicon Valley, but they finally sold out to the developers. Still, they have a stand with good produce here, and great cherries. They are a bit pricey, though. more

a real gem 3/15/2006

This place has been there for many years and is a bit of a landmark in the community. Although the store is now in a modern storefront, this place still carries great cherries. Most if not all are now grown elsewhere. They have great fruit gifts too but some stuff is a bit pricey for a fruit stand. PROS: quality CONS: can be pricey more

Cherries fresh from the tree 7/27/2005

Only a couple of years ago you could see the cherry orchard that supplied Olson - now an apartment complex takes it's place; however, the cherry stand is still there. Don't be put off by the small wooden shed-like appearance, they sell a whole array of products (not just cherries, some gourmet items too). The cherries are to die for - super sweet and juicy. more

Great dried and fresh fruit 7/25/2005

Olson Cherries is a nice family owned store which is famous in the area for their dried apricots and in-season fresh fruits. They have a wide variety of dried apricots and you can sample the different varieties. Their fresh fruit are of the highest quality. They carry other dried fruit, chocolate covered fruits, gift and their own jams and honey packs as well. IT is a very neat and clean store and the staff is very friendly. There is plenty of parking nearby. more
