THESE PEOPLE ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL\r \r I really wanted to continue going to this place because it is very convenient to where I live but I just can't deal with the rudeness anymore.\r I used to deal with a girl by the name of Sunny and that was fine -very nice but I guess they drove her out and she quit. I had tried to avoid the bosses daughter Catherine but now I had no choice.\r I asked for a chain to be shortened - and I brought the pendant and asked if it would carry the weight, they said yes. Then when I went to pick it up they told me there was NO WAY that it could hold anything! I expressed that I wished I had been told that and Catherine snapped at me and hung up on me!\r \r Oh, now it gets better: I came in to pick up the chain and expressed my frustration (in good manners) and the man (Catherines father) actually said - I swear - ""do you want me to be rude and say that only a STUPID PERSON would think that a pendant could be held on that chain""?\r \r STUPID PERSON? I am not a jeweler - that's the whole point of bringing it in - so that I could confirm that it could be done.\r \r No matter what the circumstance, please do not call me stupid as you are swiping my Visa.\r \r more

Super nice people. Catherine is very professional. I had a diamond necklace made, diamond earrings made, a tennis necklace resized, and my Rolex fixed. They all turned out awesome. I went in there after I saw these horrible reviews and was nervous, but I could not have been happier. Everything looks amazing and very reasonable. \r more

Very good experience 3/7/2012

I saw an article in the Houston Chronicle a few weeks ago about Broyles Jewelry. I liked the idea of it being around for 30 years. Four generations have worked there. So, I decided to take my husband's nice watch to get a new pin put in it. Alan Broyles was very friendly and quickly fixed the watch. He said that if my husband breaks it again to bring it in and he will do more to it. I told Alan that my husband is kind of hard on his things, so that's why he said that. I was only in there for a short time, but I will be going back for future purchases!!! more

Awful Human Beings 1/20/2011

Just let me start out by saying. Don't go there if you want to maintain the quality of whatever product you are looking give to them to size, fix, or hold on too. My fiance's family member told us to go to Broyles because they are close and who could break a ring. Well long story short, they were dumb enough to break a 14,000 dollar ring while getting it sized, yes sized. Not only did they break the ring but then they claimed it was the manufactures fault. So being gullible as usual I believed Ciecel, owner, was telling the truth. So I contacted the company and explained everything to them and he told me that every jewelers knows you can size that small from an already made ring. Contacted other jewlers and they said the same thing. So when I called him 2 weeks later to inform him with the information, he said that is baloni and hes not paying for anything. So thanks to him I have made an account and made it my job to inform everyone of their crappy work and awful respect for their product. So please I beg you do not buy anything from them or get it fixed by them because I don't want you in the same position I am in where my Fiancee has a broken wring and im spending even more thousands to get a new setting b/c they wont fix it and the bills to get a lawyer is just the same price. Good Work On Breaking Everything You Touch. It is sad to see I another person had the same problem. Wish they had negative stars. more

HORRIBLE 10/24/2009

I had been here a few times on the recommendation of some family. We all knew not to buy anything significant there as their prices are too high for too low quality. But I had thought it was a safe local place to get my watch fixed. No more. Not only did they do a poor job with my watch, they are the most disrespectful and scandalous salespeople that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. No one I know will ever go there again, and if you are smart, you won't either. They one star because zero is not an option. Pros: they can't last much longer Cons: staff, prices more
