I have eaten at the butterfly garden a few times and have always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, my most recent visit will be my last. The food was great, as always. But, the service was the worst I've ever encounter. I've received better service in hospital cafeterias, than at The Butterfly Garden. The waitress took her time getting to our table; we had a party of 8. When we asked for straws, she acted as though it was a huge ordeal to bring us straws! We were then asked to give up one of our tables, that 3 members of our party had occupied, we politely said no, because there wasn't enough room at the other 2 small tables for 8 grown women to sit at. Due to our answer, the waitress then rolled her eyes at us and wouldn’t allow us to explain why we couldn’t fit around 2 small tables. As we ate our food, the other butterfly garden employees including the manager, proceeded to talk about our party. As if they were young school girls in a gossip frenzy. We were rushed out and treated as though we weren't important enough to be dinning at Butterfly Garden. I called the next day, to make a comment about the service we received. Hoping that the manager would address the issue, so that I could continue to make visits to the restaurant. However, she said that she was appalled that we wouldn't give up our table and that they were talking about us, because any other party would be GLAD to give up there table. I told her about the waitress and how she was rude, the manager said she would address that, but other than that she didn't see anything wrong with the way we were treated. She said she lost money because we didn't give up the extra table, even though we had 3 women sitting there, one of which was 7 months pregnant!! She then stated that she hoped this wouldn't keep us from coming back to visit, however we WONT be back!!!!!
