Nice looking, pretty good selection 5/18/2006

I like the Burlingame Library. It is pretty convenient to shopping so you can stop by when you're downtown. The children's library is cute, it's got a little door the kids like to use but the room itself seems dated (old carpet?). They most recently upgraded their knitting section, so it is worth going there just for that! And the employees are very nice and accomodating. more

Burlingame Library 9/5/2005

The burlingame library, is a pretty good library. I think its very nice looking from the outside and inside. I like how they have alot of computers, but they are always full. And they are usually full..I use to go their more often when I was younger. I use to go to the childrens section when I was a little girl. And I use to check out alot of books. But now I dont go there as much, because I lost my library card. But I do like to go to the library, and check books out. But now I dont go to the childrens section I go to the older sections =) more

Beautiful 8/15/2005

This is probably the most beautiful library in the bay area. Sure there are librarys with a great modern atmosphere, internet, computer.. etc. This library has these vacilities, but the most amazing thing about this library is the structure itself. I love the beautiful old style building. It makes it a great place to just sit around in the afternoon, relaxing and reading a good book. more

This is one of the best beautiful antique looking libraries I've ever seen. When you go in, it's like a mansion. I love it. They have very nice compfy chairs and tables. I also really love their decks. The librarieans are super nice. I love their magazine and sparknotes section. I find those very useful. There are a lot of parking in the residental area. more

Beautiful Library 7/13/2005

This library is probably one of the prettiest ones in the Bay Area. Everybody I know who sees it for the first time has one word to say, "Wow!". It has everything you could ever need for all your studying/relaxing/reading needs. The children's place is friendly with computers (with filters for the kids) and comfy couches to read, and the staff is superb. The computers are all fast, and I've never had problems with them. Cell phones aren't allowed so you can read in peace. They have DVD's, and everything else you could want. I love this place! more

Great library 6/22/2005

Really nice building feels like a real library, not like a book warehouse or something. Lots of space. Great facilities. A good computer lab, which does tend to fill up during peak hours. Great location, downtown is just a stroll away. Great place to get some work done. (Oh, and clean bathrooms.) more
