Dr. Burchman and his staff have been kind and professional in all the years I have been going to him. I have had crowns and root canals, as well as fillings. He does a great job of making sure the patient is comfortable, whether with nitrous or with more novacaine. He takes the time to answer any and all questions and concerns. If you let him, Dr. Mel Burchman will improve your smile. :+} Oh and he has gas and it's free! Well he doesn't have gas, he gives it to you to make you happy and so much nicer than a needle. more

Seriously folks, he has a good staff, he sees most of the patients, waits can be long because he will take emergencies first. The office is in a huge house type setting, kept extremely fresh and clean and well decorated. The waiting room is like sitting in a huge family room with couches, comfortable chairs, a TV, magazines and a fireplace. more

He is into whitening programs, where he can do it for you or you can purchase supplies to do it at home. Unless you are a bad patient like I am, he will always use laser to clean your teeth and get rid of any signs of decay. If you are a good patient you will never hear the hums of those drills, feel the scraping for tartar and never have to spit blood again. more

Seriously, he is one of only twenty one master's of the academy for laser dentistry in the world, the whole wide world! He is also one of the only dentists around who use the velscope which detects cancer under the surface of the mouth. more

very nice office.very high tech equipment.and they pamper there patients very well, if you are scared to death of the dentist this is the place to go. they are very friendly and the staff is also very friendly. however if you dont have insurance they are very exspensive. With insurance this is the place to go. more

My first visit was for a cleaning (first in 10 years mind you). Therefore, I cleared my schedule for the whole day because I remember the cleaning process used to take FOREVER at my old dentistand not to mention it was very painful. When Dr. Burchman walked in, he was very gracious and extended his hand politely. He briefed me on how the cleaning was going to workhis textbook speech was delivered a bit monotonously due to all the technical stuff he had to cover. But I appreciated the info! My last dentist just dove in like I wasnt attached to my mouth. Anyway, I was amazed at the new high tech process. Not only was the process over in 15 minutes, but it was absolutely painless in comparison to what I was used to. Dr. Burchman discovered two cavities, and I scheduled and appointment to take care of them. Fast forward to todayI just got back from getting those cavities filled. After his textbook, obligatory explanation of all the cool stuff he was about to do, he started. Two cavities done in just under an hour No NeedlesNo Drills. Instead he uses a high powered jet of water (possibly not water) containing a powder abrasive to clean the cavity, he then places the filling in. The powder left by the spray can be a bit dry in your mouth, and since there is a lot of it, you may have the urge to cough. It was similar to having a tablespoon of sand in your mouth. As for the painthe only pain I felt was similar to drinking a super cold beverage and having it hurt your tooth momentarilyNot too bad. more

The dentist above the rest in a list of dentists I am 42 years old and had not been to a dentist in 20 years (fear of dentists from childhood). I remembered the high pitched squeal of the dental drill, the pain, the smell of tooth powder from drilling, painful needles. My wife found this office for me and said I would like him because he is so high tech. I went, then kept on going because everyone is so friendly and youwill never a tear under his care. His equipment is new and state of the art. They have laughing gas at this place! Highly reccomended! more
