Bunmeido is known for one thing--the castella cake. Sure they make mochi, and a couple roll cakes (using presumably the same batter as the castella but filled w/azuki bean jam or raspberry jam) but their main product is the castella. I'm not the biggest fan, but it is good and sometimes if you go too late, you won't find any as they sell out. Something like a cross between a chiffon cake and a pound cake, this cake whose shape resembles a squared log is moist, eggy, and sweetened with honey. For my money though, i'd rather have the roll cake w/the azuki.
