I, too have had a very bad experience with\r \r The shop appears to have been taken over by an evil cabal of nasty adolescents. They goofed up my order, and after 3 HOURS of phone calls and emails on my part, they admitted, backhandedly, that they were at fault, and then they stated their intention to deduct $10 from my refund for a ""cancellation fee"". WTF. \r \r I reported this to my bank; they have reversed the charges. \r \r I had been a 100% Satisfied Customer since 2004. \r Unless something radically changes, and for the better, I will no longer be doing business with\r \r Just as an FYI, here is a link I found to look for other bulk foods purveyors: BulkFoods is on the list; it does not count. more

Tastful products for great prices! 2/10/2012

When I first saw thier website I couldn't believe thier prices and all the variety they had in prodcuts. I thought to myself this has to be too good to be true! Not only was I amazed at how terrrific thier prices were I also recieved my order very fast and it was recieved in perfect condition. It had to be shipped the same day I placed the order. Not only was the prodcut how I expected but everything was so fresh and delicous. I can't wait to place another order! BulkfoodsDOTcom is truley a terrific company thier prices are amazing, they have a great variety of products, and the quality of the products is excelltent as well. I will defanitly tell my family and friends about this company. more

Bulk Foods has great prices on bulk items such as nuts and seeds! I?m so glad to have found a place with bulk nuts and such competitive pricing. I can get the things I need, have them shipped to my door, and not worry about going over my budget. -Janet more

Great dry food selection! 1/30/2012

I ordered dried coconut and Medjool dates from Bulk Foods to make homemade granola, and I was so surprised to see all the options they have. They even have dried fruit without sulfur or added sugar for those of us trying to follow a healthy diet. Thank you! -Angela more

Fast Delivery 12/28/2011

I ordered 5 pounds of pistachios and was very pleased with the service and quality. They arrived at my door in less than 48 hours and that wasn?t even express delivery! The pistachios were fresh and delicious. In fact, the family consumed all 5 pounds over Christmas. I will certainly not hesitate to order again from Bulk Foods. more

I love the christmas tins!!! 11/2/2011

Each Christmas our company sends gift tins to each employee. I was able to get all the gift tins we needed from Bulk Foods, and they even let me choose what items I wanted in each tin! Not only is the selection great, but the tins are beautiful. more

Great Product and Price 10/27/2011

I work in marketing, and often bring candy or nuts to my clients. After searching online for a company that sold candy and nuts in bulk, I found Bulk Foods! They have a wide variety of wrapped candies that are perfect for using as a token of appreciation to my clients. I was not able to find a better deal anywhere else more

Horrendoud. Run away fast and far from Bulkfoodscom! 5/31/2011

I placed an order for $102.14 on 05/26/2011 with BulkfoodsDOTcom. Just hours later, upon receipt of an email that it was ready to ship, I realized that they had input an incorrect SHIP TO address. I immediately called BulkfoodsDOTCOM to request that they correct the information before the order shipped, speaking with David who refused to help in any way because ""we are going home for the day. We're closing"" Though I stridently begged that he intercept the order before it shipped he would not help, but said they would fix it the next day. Next I emailed BulkfoodsDOTcom a detailed description identifying the problem, and the needed resolution. The next day BulkfoodsDOTcom responded via email saying that they were not going to rectify the problem, would ship to the address I had indicated, which is not true (see below), and that they would charge me to make any changes. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money which they have refused to do. The representatives of BulkfoodsDOTcom were callous, unreceptive, and unwilling to hear or to help, though intervention on their part would have quickly resolved what is now a significant matter-- one in which I the consumer, and their would be customer, have been slighted and am being ask to bear the burden for multiple negligences on the part of BulkfoodsDOTcom. I want the order cancelled and all monies paid refunded, but per the other Citysearch reviews, this may not be easy. more

We Don't Ship Orders 3/18/2011

Placed online order and sent a check by mail. Nowhere on the form did it say we do not accept checks. Representative #67 said she did not receive check yet even though several weeks went by. Then she said she found it. She said there is a 3 week hold. That's 21 days. Checks usually clear in 3-5 days and most businesses place holds for 2 week not 3. They said they auto email when items get shipped out. After 3 weeks I never received an email. So I called and they said the ship date has been moved out another 2 weeks. They couldn't tell me why. I said you have had my check for over 3 weeks. They said ok prove it. Well my bank statement can prove that. but they want to hold on to the products and my money. BBB complaint is in process. more

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! 3/14/2011

Placed an order for blue swizzle sticks and they sent me pink. I emailed them the same day that I got the items, Jan. 18, 2011m and even included a picture, and waited for the replacement order as I'd emailed them before about the packaging and an awful (smokey) odor on a smaller previous (sample)order and without any correspondence, I received what I perceived to be a replacement order. Nonetheless, a month later, I call them regarding the issue and am told that they never received my email and that I needed to resend it. The female rep went on to say that such matters can not be resolved over the phone and that I MUST email about the matter. So, I forwarded the original email, dated Jan. 18, 2011, and only indicated that it was my fourth email. Two days later, I get a response stating that they'd never received an email before regarding the matter and that I had ten days to contact them but that they'd give me 30% off the correct items. WTH?! Anyway, I called my bank and learned that I could file a claim and so I emailed them and let them know that if they didn't either send me the correct items or issue a refund, they could look forward to a chargeback. I received an email yesterday that they would have issued a refund yesterday. Still waiting but if nothing by Monday, I'll be calling back my bank. JUST POOR! more

Hidden return policy gotchas 12/20/2010

The return policy, which I can't find a link to from their main site, is a little customer-hostile. They make you pay shipping to return products to them, and they also deduct some of the cost of outgoing shipping when they credit you, so you have to pay shipping both ways. The return policy is no where on their site that I could find, they really need to link to it. Other than that, they aren't too bad. more

Great customer service! 11/11/2010

I ordered over 300lbs of candy on Tuesday, got a call within minutes to tell me the size of the bulk box had changed and had the order immediately adjusted. And all 300+lbs were delivered today, Thursday - less than 48 hours from placing the order. Can't get better than that! more
