I brought my boat to budget boats is June for repairs. They told me my outboard motor was unrepairable, and they had a motor they could sell me for a great price and it ran great. They installed the motor and I took the boat out the next weekend. Motor started right up and I was on my way. About 15 minutes later the motor shut down and I was dead in the water. I had to get towed in. I brought the boat back to budget boats and the head mech. told me he would make it right. 8 weeks later they slill have not done anything to fix the problem, and every time I contact them they tell me next week, that there are other people with bigger problems. I guess they figure they already got my money so lets just keep putting him off. In my opinion when you give your word and shake someones hand you stand by it. I work heard for a living and this has been an expensive nightmare not to mention Ive missed two months of fishing. Dont let this happen to you. I dont believe in overreacting but this situation is just not how you do business.
Pros: they make you feel like a valued customer
Cons: they can not deliver on there word
