Best

Don't know where to begin. Ditch the Olive Garden, ditch Macaroni Grill, ditch any italian restaurant you have ever been to and run to Buca Di Beppo. My stepbrother loves this ...

Worst

Good for big groups of people who have no taste.

Would'nt go there again. 8/10/2012

We had a graduation party with 22 people, the food was not served hot or in a timely manner, barely any sauce on the entrees and the meats were dry by the time we got them. Management did nothing to appease us and showed they could'nt care less about us as customers. We will never go there again... more

Pizza is good. 1/14/2006

Buca Di Beppo is a great restaurant. The decor is very odd. IThey have a pretty decent menu. The portions are large. The meals are decently priced. The pizza is fantastic! The fresh cheese that's stretchy gets me all the time. Payment is cash or credit. It's a fun environment with people there to havea good time so don't bring any babies with you. more

Great Food. 1/7/2006

This is a fantastic restaurant. In fact, it is one of my mother's favorites. Since it is family style, it's a fun place to go to eat with a large group. The food is done very well, the decor adds to the fun, and the staff is always very nice and helpful. I don't know why anyone would go to the Olive Garden when they could go here instead. It is well worth the money (and it ain't cheap). more

COULD THIS BE HEAVEN 9/23/2005

Don't know where to begin. Ditch the Olive Garden, ditch Macaroni Grill, ditch any italian restaurant you have ever been to and run to Buca Di Beppo. My stepbrother loves this place and has to go there everytime he is in town. I went with him and the rest of our family for father's day this summer. Oh my gosh. First of all the atmosphere is homey and comfortable, nothing pretentious at all. You can basically wear pretty much whatever (I suggest elasticized pants). The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I kid you not. You must go. Everything is served family style so you order a few different things and everyone passes it around. My favorite was the fork tender chicken, blah, blah, blah insert some italian sounding name here. WONDERFUL. The garlic bread with cheese was incredible. Everything, really, was fabulous. I can't say enough good htings about it. The drawbacks? it's a bit spendy (well a lot spendy for my budget but my step brother paid). The other thing to know is that I would not consider this a good place to bring small kids. It's just not a kid friendly place for them. You' won't enjoy it as much. I am speaking from experience as I had my one year old with and didn't get a whole lot of chance to eat as I kept grabbing utensils, glasses, table cloth and napkins away from him. Definitely a must-go restaurant. more

A great restaurant in Lombard, IL 6/26/2005

Buca Di Beppo is a great little restaurant near Yorktown mall. The decor is hysterical-- very old italian basement looking. One of their tables has the pope's head on it. Which I guess isn't so funny now that he has passed. The portions are huge so you'll want to share. For example, order a salad and the salad comes in an enromous popcorn bowl type of bowl. The pizza with carmelized onions is fantastic! You have to visit the little girls and boys room before you leave the decor in there is so funny as well. Here's a tip-- if you get cashback bonus awards on your Discover, buy a $25 Buca Di Beoop gift certificate for 20 Discover reward points. more
