Bucca Di Beppo is yes, a chain, and thus not fresh, generally overdone, and premade. We ordered the gnocci w/ marinara and the chicken marsala. The gnocci was decent, but slightly overcooked, and the sauce was fairly tasty, but the chicken marsala was not good. When the Chicken marsala came to the table it smelled like somebody had poured maple syrup over the chicken instead of marsala wine, and tasted like a sweet and sour sauce that you would order from a chinese restaurant. The food is all served family style, with family size prices, which means nobody really gets what he or she wants, and everyone still pays as though he had his own personal chef. Yet, I would recommend this restaurant to large families with lots of kids, since they can share, and kids are used to not having much say in what they eat.
Pros: good for families
Cons: food not good enough for the price
