If you are in need of a pharmacy but do not want to use one of the larger chain stores, consider Brown's Pharmacy in Irving. They have 2 locations, one inside the old Baylor Irving hospital and one just outside on Westpark (outside just west of the hospital). Jay is the pharmacist and they offer compounding meds, accept all insurance and medicare. The have lower prices if you are not insured, and from my experience they fill all prescriptions in a timely manner. I believe the location outside the hospital has later hours during the week and does have Saturday hours.
