Dr Brown is an amazing doctor. She is compassionate, skilled, and caring. I no longer go to Cherry Point because of other staff, but I would recommend her to anyone. more

Stay away from this place. As any other business, they will have clients that love them, and those that dont care for them. Like us, we took our dog there... were told a specific price. And when we got the final bill, I simply questioned why a $410 difference... And instantly went from being treated from nice to, ""you need to speak with Candy, our office manager."" Who looked like she chewed on enough candy. We were not saying we didnt owe the amount, but was just trying to understand why! We were treated extremely rude and very unprofessionally. A young girl at the front desk let us know, she (the office manager) was going through a rough time at home with a divorce. I can see why. But what kind of place is this really?! And talking to many others that have gone to them, they have a huge turn over rate with the staff. That should tell you something. Bad Management is our guess. Do NOT Recommend more

Over Charged 3/11/2010

Yesterday my dog became sick. He had a fever and incontinence so I took him to Cherry Point. Dr Bottcher told me he needed 2 xrays. She found he had a prostate infection. \r She wanted to keep him all day to observe him. She gave me \r an estimate of $487, I told them he had a rabies vaccine, so they took that off the bill. I was told to pay $150 for the \r visit. I called back and asked that they neutor the dog. It was supposed to cost $160 for the surgery. I came back to check on him and he was stuffed in a small cage and wasn't able to stand up. It was the largest they had and it was in a bathroom. I took him home so he would be able to relax and stand up if he wished. I took him back the next day and they did the surgery. They gave him an antibiotic the day before but didn't put it on the first bill. It was $128!!!! When I picked him up that afternoon, I was given the final fee of $694! That was in addition to the $150 I had to pay down. So the total for the infected prostate and neutoring was - get this - $840! I was appalled. I told her the estimate she gave me was for $450 plus $160 for neutoring. \r That would have been $610, which is still astronomical. \r How can they have a good conscience and sleep at night? \r I think they should have given a correct estimate of charges before the procedure was done. She was deceptive. That is poor business. \r They will have to give account to God for taking advantage of people. Pros: Girls were nice and polite Cons: Dr overcharges more

Excellent Vet 9/11/2009

I've taken all of my dogs to Cherry Pt. Animal Hospital and they've received nothing but the best of care. One of my dogs had severe hip dysplasia and had both of his hips operated on when he was a mere year old. Duke is now 7 years old and doing GREAT. I couldn't ask for better, higher quality care. There are less expensive vets, but none as excellent as Cherry Point. Pros: Excellent, quality care. Cons: Bit more expensive, but worth it. more

The Best 6/28/2009

Well we are from Florida and had 2 great kids(dogs)and when we moved here we had to find a vet for our male dog.I heard of Dr Cherry from a friend I work with so I took him there. Not knowing my dog from poo,and my boy was a bad kid.Dr Cherry came in and took care of him as if he had known him all his life, which by the way he passed away here 1 yr ago.I had never seen a place care more then at Cherry Point,Dr Cherry is a kind man to my furry kids and now I have 2 new kids he/they have been there for them also ,we have boarded both at the same time for 3 days and they were taken care of very well, price for both was less then $50, If you think there prices are high, GO TO FLORIDA, Cherry Point is the BEST VET IN TOWN Pros: Caring people Cons: can't find any more

Bad experience 12/30/07 12/30/2007

12/30/2007\r My husband and I left our dog here overnight from Sat. morning to Sunday afternoon. We had never used their kennel before. We dropped our dog off on Saturday morning and was quoted $14 for 1 night of boarding. Even though you can pick your animals up on Sunday's they still charge another $14 for the night, because their staff have to come in on a Sunday? Not sure why due to their kennel being open 7 days a week with the Sunday pick-up's. So we had to pay $28 for one night of boarding. But, when we went to pick him up we were charged for 3 nights. I had to explain that we had just dropped him off the previous day a few times to the office staff. One staff member held up my contact in front of like 15 other people in the lobby to show what I had signed and I said yes I know, but my dog was just here for 1 night. We had just made reservations for our dog for the 1 night. After finally getting that straightened out, we got our dog in the car, he smelled horrible! His blanket stunk as well and smelled of urine. So after getting home we had to bathe the dog, wash his bedding, and clean the backseat of the car. I question now what their kennel looks like, since you have to drop your animals off at the desk. I am a social worker and I would NEVER leave my dog at this place again! DO NOT recommend it! more
