I appreciate the excellent service and courtesy from the Brothers technicians who have served me with both plumbing and HVAC issues since 2003 and have previously been satisfied with the products I bought from Brothers. . However, I am completely dissatisfied with the new downstairs heat pump/air handler that I purchased in March 2014. It has already failed twice - January 2015, when it took 4 days to order and replace a control board, and then again on Saturday evening, July 25, 2015when I had no air conditioning. The technician checked it on Sunday and said that a blower motor needs to be ordered, yet another part that is not kept in stock for quick repairs. I now learn that this part will not be in until Tuesday, July 28, another day of waiting in the 90+ degree heat. I have been a Premium Maintenance Club Member since 2003 but it doesn't seem to be an advantage when repairs are needed or parts must be obtained. The system is under full warranty but I believe I have purchased a real lemon in this new system. The issue is not money but the time and inconvenience of these frequent failures on a system just over a year old. I asked the technician about replacing the air handler but he said he did not believe the company would do that. I did not find contact information on the web site and am not sure with whom I should discuss this concern.
