Online order didn't work so they called me 20 minutes later to give order over phone. Good pizza - I prefer it well done for crispier crust from this place though. Also, they are a little light on the toppings. more

the food, the service, and the efficiency with which the waiters handled their jobs were all so pleasing. although i cant say that they have the best of a food catagory, every single entree was satisfying, so you wont regret anything that you order. my friends and i always go there, and my family and i go frequently as well. the prices are feasible and everyone can manage to afford the food. more

Seriously... who wrote these other reviews?!? 8/24/2008

Wanted to spend a lovely Saturday afternoon having some great pizza and a pitcher of beer close to home so we used Citysearch and found this place... claiming to have great NY style pizza. Went and found a completely empty, mess of a restaurant (no one else being there should've been a sign). I will give them friendly service, but the food made me feel like I'd been a smoker for 50 years and completely lost my sense of taste! Totally flavorless - even the toppings on the table were flavorless. Fair prices... but for what? And they charge you extra to use a credit card/debit card. I was really hoping to find a little gem in southbay, but alas... all I found was another lame excuse for New York style pizza. Pros: plenty of parking. plenty of seating. Cons: the food. more

Pizza was all right. I ordered a 14" with pepperoni and sausage and a 14" Chicken Devine, but I only tasted the latter. The mozzarella tasted exactly like the sticks of string cheese you get at the grocery store, which was neither a good nor a bad thing to me. The only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that the toppings pooled in the middle of the pizza rather than laying evenly across the whole thing. However, the service was great. The people on the phone and the delivery guy were really friendly and accommodating. The wait was average (about 40-45 minutes). I'd order again just for the people. more

Great NY style pizza 3/2/2008

I looove pizza. Good pizza. The place is a little hard to find, and not much to look at, but stay focused. Its all about the pizza. Great NY style thin crust pies and slices. Added bonus of great prices. Check it out. more

great pizza in south bay 6/24/2007

Upon moving to Hermosa Beach, we finally found a great pizza parlor with tasty food and an authentic, NY style vibe. The sauces have a great flavor without being over seasoned, and the pizza crust is reminiscent of back east. The staff is relaxed and friendly, the kind of family run business you want in your neighborhood and miss from your old one growing up. more
