OK food at best and horrible service from teenagers posing as managers. The food is alright, and because I live so close I'll sometimes order, but if I have any extra time I always drive the extra five minutes for better food. Pizza is tolerable, but nothing to write home about and DEFINITELY NOT the best NY style pizza in Charlotte as they claims...that would be Louisa's in my opinion. Other items on the menu and fine but lacking in real flavor....just enough to be eatable. The service....well if you like being waited on by teenagers with an attitude then you'll LOVE this place....particularly when you have an issue and the ""manager"" is nothing more than another bit***y school girl with no concept of customer service or running a business (which to the owner is btw what they are doing when you deem them a manager). After my last visit for mediocre food and run in with the teeny-bopper with tude posing as a manager...I think I'm done...but feel free to see how long your patience lasts! more

Delicious Pizza, Great Employees 12/20/2011

good pizza terrible customer service 11/4/2010

Brooklyn pizza is tasty, however,the customer service is bad. The wait staff are very rude and not personel. As good as the pizza is, its unfortunate that the service does not reflect that warm family feel. There are other pizza parlors I can go to with good food and good service. more

I recently visted to location in Wesley Chapel. The service was awful. They will not run a tab so you can have more than one drink or order as you sit at the table ie. appitizer then dinner. The antipasta salad was watery, I hate that. Spin the dam salad! And the manager was a @*tch! It was about 6:30 when we got there, she turn on the house lights soon after we arrived and we asked if she could turn them off, we felt like we were being interrogated not to mention but its still light out (labor day) She said that someone asked to turn them on, I was dumbfounded. WE were asking to turn them off. she did then she opened the blinds next to us and the sun was shining in our eyes. more

Horrified 7/11/2010

We were horrified when we picked up dinner for the family to find a FLY in our chicken parm. Worse was the reaction we got from both the assistant mgr and mgr. They were very indifferent to the complaint. The mgr actually said they can't control flying insects getting In the food. If they cannot control the cleanness or integrity of the food That is just a lazy response and one which all patrons shoukd be concerned about. Pros: Nothing Cons: Dirty more

Good pizza--worst staff ever 6/11/2010

We went here shortly after it opened and loved the pizza but walked away thinking it was probably the rudest and laziest staff we'd ever seen. We went back recently to give it another chance after a few years and the staff was even worse. Granted, the pizza is good but the 'wait' staff is exceedingly rude and lazy. We'll continue patronizing Wolfman and/or Hawthorne's and never go back again. Pros: good pizza Cons: horrible service more

Brooklyn Pizza Parlor is the best in Charoltte 12/13/2009

This is the best pizza in Charlotte. I think it edges out the fabuolous Hawthorne's, and now that things have changed at Angela's, it beats them. The people giving it one star in these reviews must work for a competitor or something. This place is great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I've been to Brothers Pizza on Staten Island. Before I ate there, this was 5 star pizza to me. Now that I've had Brothers, I have to give this place 4 or 4.5. more

The Nona Pizza is wonderful. Had my first one several weeks ago. I thought it was the freshest and best pizza I had enjoyed in a long time. The nona has tomatoes and cheese on a crispy crust.\r Worth driving for. more

this is my dad pizza place =] im his daughter and i just wanted to come and support him and his place so EVERYONE PLZ GO TO BROOKLYN PIZZA PARLOR! its very nice and i love all of the employees my dad hired. we have a lot of fun and im sure anyone would like it!! unless u like that pizza thats little sloppy and with no sauce,,,,. u wud hate it... lol =] thx to everyone who rated a good rating!! I just moved to Charlotte from NY and a friend of mine recommended this place. I tried it for the first time this past weekend. The pizza is great. The staff was also very friendly and kept checking on us. I will definitely be going back. Pros: Great food and service. more

I Absolutely Love there pizza. It's such a family friendly atmosphere. And there pizza selections are great! Sometimes we like to go here for lunch and we have a pretty big family but they always accommodate us and treat us like family. I would defiantly recommend this place if you want great service and great food! more

Friendly Staff. Overall just average. 6/14/2008

So, I've been here a couple times. We sat on the patio overlooking the Colony Rd / Rea Rd intersection, and the building and surroundings are really nice. The staff was friendly, they serve beer and wine, kept up with our big thirsts, and the menu looked really good. The pizza looked great, huge slices and lots of toppings. But after diggin in, the taste was kinda boring and average. A letdown since I was excited to have some great ""real"" New York Brooklyn Pizza, but it isn't really. I'm still lookin for that special place in Charlotte. I haven't found one yet to rival a trip to NYC for a slice. Pros: Great space. Great Location. Lots of room for a group. Beer and Wine. Cons: Average Pizza. Nothing to write home about. more

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and I don't think I have found a better place to have lunch with my 2 year old. Everyone is nice the food is good and we all seem to get along. Keep it up. more

Finally some good New York Pizza 5/6/2008

Finally some good New York Pizza. A co-worker told me about this place and it was excellent. The pizza is really good and the food is excellent. The subs are huge and the atmosphere was great. They make a great white pizza as well. I would definitely continue to eat here even though it is about 25 minutes from my house. Finally NY has made it to NC! more

Perfect pizza pies! 2/1/2008

I love pizza! I'm always looking for the best new pizza place in town and, while Brooklyn Pizza Parlor isn't new, it's definitely one of the best around! The New York style pizza is cooked to perfection and the menu is pretty expansive, including many non-pizza items. The restaurant is always clean and in order and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, too, with a lodge feel that even includes a burning fireplace in the middle of the restaurant. Brooklyn's is definitely a family favorite for us! more

The bread on the sub that I ordered was made of pizza dough it was just hard and bland. I don't really know if the pizza is good. more
