Brookdale Grill

The restaurant was disgusting. We sat in a booth and two of us had spider webs entangled on our fingers and on our clothes. Of course, the spider joined up for our meal too. It was such a disappointment and embarrassment. I took my mom there for Mother's Day brunch. The food was below average. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the place. I found it appalling that they don't wipe the area we sat in down, especially for Mothers Day. My poor mom and me are terrified of spiders so we were on the lookout the entire time we were eating out meal. Go to Brookdale Lodge as a tourist attraction but not for a meal. Honestly, what brought me to the Brookdale lodge to have dinner were the stories of the hauntings there. I did capture stuff on film which was neat! The food was pretty good...nothing fancy. The creek running through the restaurant was interesting. I'd recommend this place to experience once. Not too shabby.
