A Louisville Safe Haven 10/31/2002

Out of the places that have come & gone and the ones that that have changed over the years, The Bristol is one of the few left I really like in Louisville. Like many patrons, I also go weekly. Service is always top notch and professional. Turnover among the staff is very low. No one is treated better than anybody else. The food is always excellent and very filling. The clientele is classy, not pretentious. Customers don't to go to ""people watch"", but to actually enjoy a good meal. What a concept! For those who miss Pasquales and The Hungry Pelican, this should be your choice to dine out. Pros: Great service, Great food, Great value Cons: Crowded late more

Wonderful food and a great place to meet after or before the theatre. etc. I like the Hurstbore location, partly because I live in the area and the decor is excellent. Pros: location, decor, food Cons: nothing I can think more

It's my husband's and my favorite restaurant in Louisville. We generally go weekly - sometimes more than once a week! The food is great and the service is fantastic. more

This burger, even when cooked well done, is juicy and delicious. It's unique bun (english muffin) certainly does not take away from the taste of the burger. By far, it is the best in town! more

The Black Bean Soup was phenomenal and service was superior. For a relaxed and casual atmosphere this is the place to visit. I will be flying to Louisville again soon and will absolutely be visiting the Bristol again. Pros: wonderful service, comfortable more
