Brindles 2/25/2006

This is a fun place to scavenge used book shelves. Many books are current best sellers but there are a great variety of out of print books as well. There is a wide selection of audio books for those of us who want to be "read to" while stuck on the Southern California freeways. You can also bring in your own used books to sell. The proprietor will give you a good price, but don't expect top dollar. The owner of this store is a shrewd business woman and has been a staple in this community for many years. more

An okay used bookstore. They don't have the largest selection to choose from and they seem to have a lot more paperbacks than hardback books. They are reasonably priced but the store is pretty much a do-it-yourself store. Employees aren't that knowledgable about the store. They do have numerous discount promotions throughout the year. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. more

Used Book Store 8/7/2005

Brindles is an excellent retailer of used books. They have a nice, large store, and things are very organized to help you find what you are looking for. I always come out of here with more than I came in looking for! I have been a patron of this bookstore for a long time, and I wish it were closer to home. more
