I attended BYU for my undergraduate degree and loved the education I received and the time I spent there. The university is quite large (30,000 students) but as you get into your program of choice, the class sizes decrease and you really get the education that you are looking for! There are rules that you have to follow so you have to be aware of that before you attend. more

Awesome University 9/4/2005

BYU is great! BYU is an awesome academic and social experience for a too sweet price! The inexpensive tuition is well worth the excellent teachers, the diverse and fun student body, and a very advanced and clean campus. Teachers have genuine interest in students and student projects and are very approachable. The only downside is class size which can be a little bigger than you would want. (Like Biology, 600 students...) more

Great University! 8/17/2005

Brigham Young University is one of the greatest universities in Utah. It offers hundreds of undergraduate degrees and masters degrees. They have a law school that is ranked in the top 50 law schools as well as a high ranked MBA program. This university houses around 30,000 students a year so it's easy to get lost in the crowd. The campus is beautiful and well taken care of. You'll have spent your money wisely by attending this great school! more

Great education and atmosphere 8/11/2005

I had a wonderful experience in my four years at BYU. The campus is clean and beautiful, the mountain air is dry and refreshing. The classes and professors in general have a spiritual slant to the things they teach which is to be expected. BYU holds a lot of fun campus activities which are actually very well attended but the student population in general. Though it is a huge school, it feels like a small one because of the students' religious connections with one another and the fact that most come from all over the country to be there. The business and law school is nationally well ranked. more

Great School, loved my time there 8/10/2005

I am a recent graduate from BYU and can honestly say I loved my time there. I always felt as if my knowledge was growing as I attended there, in things both religious and scholastic. The social atmosphere was great as well. There was always something to do if I wanted to, and if I wanted I could just relax at my apartment or study at the library. In my opinion there is no better place to go to school. more

BYU we love you 8/5/2005

What a wonderful University. Unfortunately there are a lot of tensions between the University of Utah and BYU. These are two outstanding universities and they have so much in common. BYU offers a great education, which I truly appreciated. But more than that, students get to enjoy intramural activities and fun activities organized by student groups. Top Notch University and a great experience too! more

A fine institution to attend 8/2/2005

Ahhh BYU...my alma mater. BYU is an interesting school. It's very clean cut and proper, if you will - there's a reason it was voted the Number 1 Stone Cold Sober University in the nation. The students pledge to follow an Honor Code as long as they attend BYU or live in BYU approved housing. It is a very good value for the education you receive. The classes are challenging and exciting. I enjoyed my time learning there. There's lots of shops and things to do on campus. There are free foreign films, activities and more. Overall, I feel that BYU is a good choice for someone wanting an excellent education at an affordable price. more
