CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS! 1/26/2007

This place is apparently closed for renovations or something, though there is no way to tell aside from actually going there. Don't make the mistake I did when I paid $9 for parking on a Saturday night in Hollywood only to discover that it was closed! more

Just keep going back! Our favorite Restaurant. 9/29/2006

We just can't get enough. We are there all the time. It is just such a fantastic place to dine. So much fun and the staff is so welcoming. I highly recommend it. Pros: The food is fantastic. The Chocolate dessert is wonderful. more

Just Great! Just Great! 9/8/2006

My partner and I had dinner there a few nights ago and it was simply perfect. The food was everything divine and the server couldn't have been more accommodating and not to mention really cute! I had the best Mussels I have ever had! The French Fries are not to be beaten. I may go back just to get some fries. I will be bringing all my friends here. It is a must! Pros: A real night out. more

Don't bother 9/8/2006

The food was below mediocre, the service was just ok, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The only decent thing that happened was that the proprietoress (I assume) gave us each a glass of wine that she particularly liked. The wine was horrible though. Cons: Food, parking, ambience more

Best French Food and So Reasonably Priced! Your Money's Worth 9/7/2006

The food is always high quality. We come here often and just love it. You can taste that the sauces are luxuriously prepared but are not heavy. You feel great after this meal! All this is served up well with the very courteous wait staff. We will be back again this week. Pros: Romantic Patio and great artwork! more

Filet Mignon! Desserts Desserts! Chocolate Chocolate!! 9/6/2006

Start with the tender mouth watering Filet Mignon and then have the most amazing chocolate desserts!! The Warm Pear in Chocolate Sauce!! Or the light but delectible Chocolate Flourless Cake!!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant! You will love it! Also went back one night for late desserts. Yes!!!! Pros: I love dessert and I love Meat! Both are amazing at this place. Location is awesome also..go clubbing afterwards! more

Great Atmosphere, Great Food 9/4/2006

We were greeted at the door by a tall, dark and handsome waiter, my girlfriend had said! He was very courteous. The bread was really delicious and toasted with some type of pesto on it..mmmm. I had the Halibut in some coconut emulsion and it was the best halibut I have ever had. You could tell it was very fresh and prepared with love! My girlfriend had the Salmon, which she kept telling me, ""Mmm, this is so delicious!"" Pros: Location, Atmosphere, Service more

Mmmmmm Good! Yummy Tuna with this tasty orange sauce. You have to try it. 9/4/2006

We were walking by looking for a place to eat and nothing tempted us. Then we saw this Bohemian Temptress of a restaurant with this seductive art on the wall and we just fell in love and the romance continued on to the amazing Seared Ahi Tuna and the delectible Mussels and best fries of all time. We had a great evening filled with fantastic wines and warm pesto bread which was illuminated by dreamy music that we felt like we were in a Hollywood movie. We will be regularily enjoying this jewel. more

Best Salmon in the city! Great wine list! 9/4/2006

This place is just perfect...brought my date there and they made us feel so welcome. The service was very attentive, the food amazing. The bread is divine with this pesto sauce on it. It is very romantic and I have to say, that I got a second date out of it. I highly recommend this Parisian feel on Hollywood Blvd. more

What a wonderful experience. Soooo relaxing. 9/3/2006

It was just a pleasure to relax and enjoy wonderful music on an outdoor patio in the moonlight drinking great wine, eating outstanding food. I felt as though I were in heaven for a few hours. I ahve not had such a wonderful, just enjoyable evening in a long time. I will be back as often as I can. I loved it. Pros: Ambiance, Wonderful Food, Wine and Service. Cons: I cannot think of any! more

Eat, Eat and Eat More! Just delicious food! 9/3/2006

I can't get enough of this restaurant. The food is delicious and the cool Hollywood Staff makes it a fun experience. I had the best New York Steak ever with Porcini Mushroom sprayed on it. My friend had the Filet Mignon that melted in your mouth with these potatoes that I am still dreaming of returning to eat! Maybe tonight! You must try this place. I have become a regular. I love their wines. Pros: Great Food Cons: Not enough parking in hollywood, but we still found a spot. more

Going Out Of Business? 8/5/2006

I fell into Les Voyous 1 1/2 years ago (Musso & Frank's was too crowded) and enjoyed it very much, nice servers and atmosphere, good food. I suggested it to some friends as a place to meet in Hollywood for an early dinner last night. more

Quiet local eatery. Charming. 7/16/2006

I usually grab a meal here and then get a drink at the cute little house down the street called Memphis. Good, simple bistro food. I've had a little bit of everything on the menu by now and it's all very good. Not amazing, but euro comfort food. The best thing about it is the pace there. You can just hang out ofter dinner and order drinks and no server will be down your throat to get you out of there, which in itself makes it like being in Europe. Pros: Cute place, simple euro food Cons: Nothing on the menu makes you want to go back soon more

The Perfect Restaurant! 7/15/2006

This is by far my favorite restaurant in L.A. The food is to die for, the ambiance is warm and welcoming, and the owner Viviane is an absolute angel. For a perfect night in L.A., this is THE place to go to. Pros: Outdoor dining, open for lunch, friendly and delish Cons: no cons whatsoever!!!! more

The best Filet Mignon and Steak in the city!! Moules and French Fries..divine! 7/14/2006

This brasserie is so romantic and seductive! Great musice, Great vibes and gorgeous wait staff! The best Martini's and generous pours in Los Angeles. I loved everything from the toasted Pesto bread to the divine chocolate desserts...will go back and go back and go back!!! Saw the Everybody loves Raymond's Mom there!! Pros: Great Service, Great Ambiance, Great Food!!! Cons: I can't go everyday! more

For tourists only 9/3/2005

Les Voyous falls short on nearly every front. Actor-wannabe waiters subject you to their grating, painful faux-french. Food isn't done well (avoid the panini -- unless you like wilted lettuce, bread excavated from Tut's tomb, and onions that would be rejected from even the diviest burger joint onion rings) and is overpriced for what it is in terms of quality and presentation. Enjoy the nasty surprise when you see your waiter has included a gratuity in the bill (17% for a party of two!). Of course, there's a line for an additional tip, but I doubt you could write a negative number in to make the tip more accurate. If you're a KCRW member, they won't honor fringe benefits unless the owner is in. Cons: Poor Service, Poor Food, Overpriced more

Dissapointing Food & Terrible Service 8/15/2005

I walked by this cute looking cafe many times and my husband and I decided to try it for brunch. The service was awful and the food was dissapointing for the time we had to wait and the price. We waited over an hour for a sandwich and an omlette, 25 minutes for our drinks (coffee and a cocktail) and then received a bill for $54. The whole meal took over two hours and although our waiter was apologetic, there was no manager and the other waiter had quite a bit of attitude when we asked to speak to the manager. As cute as the facade may be, it is just that, a facade. Very dissapointing experience and by far the most expensive omlette I have had in Los Angeles. It's one thing to be understaffed and slow, but entirely another to then be rude to the customers as well. Cons: Expensive, Terrible Service, Mediocre Food more

devine neighborhood restaurant 6/30/2005

The ambiance and lovely art work set the stage for a romantic evening or a casual night out with a group of friends in a quaint yet sophisticated setting. My husband and I have been 3x together and with a large party, and the food, service and experience is always beyond perfect. We try something new everytime, but the favorites are the steak pommes frites, spanish omelete, halibut and tuna tartar. The prices are more than reasonable, I'll be back. Pros: chic yet quiet settin, attentive wait staff Cons: no valet parking more
