Best

I gave birth at this hospital in March 2009. I came in for a scheduled c-section. I had to come to Brandon because my doctor's office was associated with them. Can't say much for ...

Brandon Regional 10/30/2010

Will never go there again as I have nothing good to say about it. Want quality care, great nurses and Drs. then go to Tampa General. A short 15 min. from Brandon...your life is worth it. more

not the best place to go 11/20/2005

I have had several bad experiences with this hospital. The emergency room is not the best-the wait are so long even when there aren't a lot of people there. The billing department always misplaces my insurane information and then ends us bills for outrageous amounts telling us that we owe money when our insurance should have paid for it. The nurses are overworked and it shows-they are usually very abrupt or rude when dealing with patients. I wouldnt recommend this hospital to anyone! more

Excellent Pediatric Staff ! 8/11/2005

My daughter has been in the hospital several times here. It is hard to say that you love anything about a hospital, but I love the staff there. The nurses in the pediatric area are very caring with the children. They try to accommodate the family of a child as much as they can. They try to make it as painless to the children as they can. They have special menus for the children to order off of. Not that it makes the food any better, but at least the picky eaters have a choice on food to eat when they are filling up to it. They also offer an additional try for parents to eat. If your child is given the permission to leave the room from the doctor, they have a playroom with a bunch of toys in it. Or the nurses can bring in a VCR or Game console to play. (They don't have many games or movies, most of there stuff is done by donations) more

Treated my son well 7/28/2005

My son had to go to the emergency room at this hospital. Since he is only two years old, they rushed him in rather quickly. The nurses gave him popsicles. Unfortunately, when trying to give him an IV, they failed miserably. Four nurses were trying to hold him down and they never did get the thing in his arm. It was very upsetting for a parent. The doctor performed much better than the nurses. Since I live here, I would have to take him back to the same hospital. I will discuss any IV procedures with a doctor beforehand, so as not to undergo the same thing twice where my son is concerned. more
