Kinda Scary 3/3/2010

Only went once because it was scary do not like the bowling and club scene mixed and the patrons here were not of a high quality. I would say your money is better spent some where safer! more

Great drinks and fun bowling! 8/1/2009

We've been bowling here a couple of times. The great thing about this bowling alley is that they want you to have fun. They have lane service from the bar and great drinks! more

Nice Facility 3/24/2009

The facility itself I found to be very nice. It certainly isn't a 'dive'. That said, the prices are definitely on the high end as well. The uniqueness of this bowling alley is that there is a server assigned to your lane who handles everything from bringing you food and drinks, to helping in setting up your game on the computer, to bringing you your check when you are finished. That's right, you pay your server for the costs of your games as well. I found this to be a little disturbing because a tip was expected based on the cost of my bowling game and shoe rental. Overall, I had a fun experience with my group. We did not eat, so I cannot give a review of the food. But the alcohol was served promptly and the place was very clean. I really can't ask for a lot more than that. Pros: Nice seating area, Nice lanes, Cons: High Prices for bowling, food, drinks, and shoes more

Terrible Customer Service and Rude Management Experience 1/25/2009

First of all, I generally do not find time to complain about my experience and generally speaking it does not take alot for me to not turn a bad experience into somethng good... However, in all my years, 300 is the worst place that I every spent My time and Money. Without spending anymore my useful energy, I beg of anyone to not waste their time or money at this place. 300 should be called ZERO, Shame on the owners and management! Pros: It is a bowling alley... Structurely Cons: Management, Customer Service, High drinks prices & my Guest had to pay at the door!! more

New Year's Eve Bowl Out 12/18/2008

RIPOFF!!! 12/11/2008

This is place is a RIPOFF. Don't be fooled by the $5 shoes and $6 per game. We had a big group and they refused to split the check. The ATM was broken and they charged us $36 for gratuity...AT A BOWLING ALLEY!!!! I paid $6.15 for a Bud Lite and $5 for a sprite. It was a hassle trying to pay and it was a miserable experience all around. Go to your local Brunswick branch, you'll be much happier and a have few more dollars in your pocket. Pros: Nice layout Cons: Very Expensive, Not able to split checks, expensive drinks. more

Cool Place Customer Service Does NOT Exist 9/2/2008

The atmosphere is fun for groups, the drinks are average as is the food; but the actual bowling is completely overpriced! Pros: Atmosphere, DJ Cons: Waitstaff, Cost more

Odd mix of upscale and bowling, but it works 7/21/2008

I had heard mixed opinions about this place, cool and hip yet overpriced and not worth it. That is about what it wrapped up to be. The fun level was high, I liked the quick streamlined lane, shoes, and ball process. They have a waitress that serves you right from your alley although a few times I felt I could have gone to the bar quicker myself. There are huge projection screens above the end of the lanes that play pop music videos which is cool. Everything about the bowling activity is new age; super quick ball return, very accurate scoring, computer screens, etc. We didn't eat but did order drinks. WARNING: Do not order a pitcher of Sam Adams, it cost us $17 something!!! Way too expensive for a domestic beer, any beer really. Overall we did spend alot but were prepared for it. Value is a toss up, lots of fun but we paid for it. Pros: Lots of fun, got to pay at the end of our evening, hip atmosphere, good crowds Cons: Fair or below average value, sneak in an adult beverage or drink later more

Enh... 7/12/2008

Well some people might want a fancy bowling alley. And I can see that. BUT 300 Atlanta is a cheap version of a very expensive bowling alley. It is a bowling alley, but way over priced. It tries to be upscale, but the clients and the service are far below par. The bathrooms are disgusting, the drinks are overpriced (but lord do those midori margaritas sell!), and the lanes and the wait are just not worth it. It is a good bowling alley but trying, and failing, much too hard, and absolutely losing in the battle.. Pros: Lanes, Drinks, Food Cons: Wiats, constituents, atomsphere, cost!!! more

Good Bowling, Average Food 7/1/2008

The bowling alley has been there for a long time and recently changed it's name, and i'm assuming owners. The food is not great, so this place is good if you eat elsewhere. more

Bowling on another level 6/11/2008

This place is amazing. It's like a one stop shop for fun, foos and drinks! If you want to sit at the bar and have a drink with friends, or sit at a table and have a nice meal, or even play a quick game of bowling, Atlanta 300 is the place to go! Everytime I go I have the best time because the music is great and the wings are really good! I would suggest this place to anyone who is looking for all around fun. more

unique bowling/entertainment 5/15/2008

This is an upscale bowling alley different from your run-of-the-mill place. Everything is nice and clean, colorful and hip. The seats next to the lanes are comfortable, and you even get a server who takes orders and can bring drinks and food. The prices are definitely a little higher, but it was worth the experience. It's not the kind of place I'd go to frequently, but every now and then with a group of friends it wouldn't be too bad. more

Love this place!!! 4/13/2008

300 is a bowling alley that is more than just a bowling alley. They have everything that you can imagine...not only do you have music going, but you get your own little private waiter who stands there ready to take your drink or food order. I mean, honestly I really like this place and I don't even like to bowl...i go with my friends and have a good time dancing and partying while they're bowling!!! Definitely go here, you'll love it! more

AVOID AT ALL COST 3/3/2008

This place SUCKED!!!!!!! I will recommend this place to no one. No one worked there seems to know what was going on with orders, drinks or food. We waited 3 hours for some wings but got the check in two minutes which had items on it that we did not order. We would have left but had family playing on lanes. The prices was way to high but I could looked over it if the food would have came on time. Oh my God please let me mention the bathroom, it was so nasty. If they plan on marketing this place as upscale then PLEASE hire a bathroom attendant. No paper or soap was in the rest room. I really hope the staff did not have use this facility. By the way is this the same place on the website. HA HA. Pros: food tasted good Cons: pricing more

Pricey but clean and fun alley's 3/2/2008

This is my first review on Citysearch. We went to this place yesterday with a bunch of my friends. Even though the price is on the higher side ($5 for shoes, $6 per game/per person before 5pm), we had a good time. The alley's are hip and clean. The service is good. We don't have to move from the sitting area to order something. Overall we had fun. I had to give 1 less star 'cos of the price :) Pros: atmosphere Cons: price more

Highly overated 1/25/2008

I visited before it became 300 and honestly I appreciate AMF before the transformation. If I wanted to go to a club, I would go to a club. I don't expect to have to tip the wait staff at the bowling alley for bringing me food and drinks!! They came in handy because it was extremely crowded for no apparent reason. The big screens showed videos not in sync with the music the DJ was playing!!! Personally, I would prefer to keep the club and bowling alley separate. There was a fight in the girls restroom and DeKalb county police frequently scour the crowd for vagrants!!! It's not your typical bowling alley is an understatement. more

300 Not so 'Happy' Hour 1/12/2008

I had been eager to visit 300 for months, when my coworker and I decided to stop by there Friday during ""Happy Hour"". I called a ahead to see when ""Happy Hour"" was over. After immediately putting me on hold, the receptionist came back to the phone and said that ""Happy Hour"" ended at 9pm. My coworker and I arrived at 7:20. Pros: Nice Atmosphere, Nice workers, Great Music Cons: Limited Parking, Expensive Drinks. more

An ATLANTA Standard 11/25/2007

This place has been here FOREVER. I have been coming to Savoy Drive for Great Bowling, Games and Food for over 25 years. When Savoy Drive had the Steak & Ale the Mad Italian and others it was still a ""meeting spot"" The place has always set the standard. This is one of the few bowling alleys where the food is actually GOOD. Some places look like everything they serve is from the freezer to the microwave, but 300 Atlanta was much better. And their drinks are not watered down. You can actually get the buzz you expect without going broke at the bar. I will agree they are a little more expensive than some other places, but sometimes you just get what you pay for. If I have to pay more for better service, better lanes, and better food, then I am glad to spend my money there. more
