Book Baron

So many books. Book Baron is quite possibly the second-largest used bookstore I have ever been to. There sheer number of books in the store is staggering, but the fact that they are in as such good order as they are in is equally so. The books are organized by genre, and as a result, as long as the general category of a book is known, it is a simple search to find it. The employees are helpful, though the customer usually needs to initiate the interaction. I must say, though, looking for a particular book by oneself is an amazing experience. The fact is that there is bound to be numerous other books which will arouse a sense of curiosity, especially if one is just there to browse. It is easy to find that one has been in the store for an hour not being any closer to deciding what to buy and what to come back later for. The store has much to offer, with repeat visits rarely ever being repeat-experiences. more

It's great to have a bookstore so close that will buy or trade books. I was surprised by much they had--they're much bigger than any used bookstore I've been to! They have a good selection that's always changing, and I've always found something to take home by checking back often. Sometimes out of print books that are collectible or in high demand can be expensive, though. more

This book store is amazing. It has so many books....all or almost all of them are used. You can find rare books, old books, magazines, novels... whatever you are looking for it more than likely can be found here. The staff is a bit quirky, yet very knowledgeable. I have found rare cookbooks, text books and gardening books. Give it a try. more

Book Baron has the widest selection of used books and magazines in Southern California. They also sell CD's and movies. They have a very knowledgable and attentive staff that are willing to help you search the shelves for anything. Most paperback prices are half off the cover price. Location is slightly out of the way and not in the best of neighborhoods. more

I once bought what I thought was a rare book at a garage sale and took it here to have it appraised. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be a great find since the education I received was worth more than the book. The staff is really well-informed and I learned a lot about that to look for in books. They have an excellent collection of rare books in-house as well. more

The Book Baron Used Book Store in Anaheim California is almost like a shopping mall of a book store. The store is very large for a used book store. Great selection and really low prices. The lowest around ! There is always some one available to help you find a book and you can also trade in your used books for store credit. That can be used at that time or saved for a later use. They also have used cd and records. There is a ton of available parking outside in the large parking lot. They have a wonderful selection of used children books in hard cover or soft cover. There cookbook selection is also one of the largest i've ever found. The store is very easy to get to and even open on the weekends. more

I went to this store looking for some books to read but they were almost out of everything. I went and apparently they had a sale the day before so I didn’t get anything that I had wanted, and so I don’t know if they are worth wasting my time next time. more

This is one of the best used book stores to visit. Its a huge store, and if they dont have it, they will do their best to help you locate it. They have a huge variety of each genre, and the staff is really helpful and friendly. The pricing is also very reasonable. Make this store a priority when looking for older, used books. more

I like that the Book Baron has a large selection of books. Sometimes when you have an assignment for school, you don't want to pay full pop for a new book that you're only going to need for a few weeks. This is when you get assigned a book for reading. They have a lot of books, so if you need one, odds are they'll have it. If they don't, they can try to find it, although that may take some time. just give them a try. more

Book Baron is a used bookstore that has been in existence since 1980 and features more than one-half million books. The selection is extremely extensive, running the gamut from fiction to nonfiction to kid’s. This is like a large library where you can browse and buy the books. It’s a great place to find out-of-print books as well as the newest releases. The prices are reasonable and the salespeople are extremely helpful. They also buy or give store credit for books, so this is a great place to take books you no longer want. more
