Loads of rough and tumble for our energetic pup. 4/27/2019

Our 70 pound chessie loves going here. I think he loves the farm more than he loves our home now. He starts whining with excitement when ever we get near. He runs, digs, plays etc. he always comes back filthy and exhausted from running around like the crazy dog he is. We love the place and can recommend it without reservation more

Too many dogs, not enough oversight 1/4/2016

My sweet 26lb hound kept coming home with nips on her flanks and punctured ears. When I told the owners and asked them to help keep my dog from being beat up, they kept assuring me they would. I stopped believing they had the capacity to protect her after she came home needing emergency surgery to close a gash on her belly--they didn't even call me to pick her up early. This place used to be quality, but now is a "volume" operation and they overload the watchers and don't put in enough effort when screening the dogs social skills. more

Bone-A-Fide Dog Ranch! 10/7/2006

My Mom and her husband travel pretty frequently and always use Bone-A-Fide. I have been up there to pick the dogs up once or twice and have been really impressed with the amount of care and attention each dog gets. They have gotten to know my Mom's dogs and really build relationships with them. They always know where each dog is, and there is so much room for them to run and play. There's even a "chill yard" for dogs that get a little wound up, or just need to relax. I highly rcommend them! more

Disneyland for your Pooch 10/5/2006

My puppy loves the place. She has been attending since she was 4 months old. She can hardly wait until her doggie driver shows up at the house to take her to day care at the ranch. She gets to spend time with her doggie friends every day, and the human friends are great too. They really understand her needs and how to keep her happy. When I get home at night she is the happiest of puppies for having spent the day at Bone-A-Fide. more

Great place for a dog 5/26/2006

My dog and I both loved Bone-A-Fide. The ranch requires a Saturday visit before boarding any dog to make sure that the dogs are comfortable in free-running environment, and to show the owners around the ranch. After just a quick Saturday visit, when I brought my dog back to board they remembered him by name. The staff genuinely seems to care about each dog there, and the dogs have a lot of fun playing together and running around all day. The ranch has several different yard areas, including one for smaller dogs if they're uncomfortable out with the big dogs. I appreciated that they're so open about letting owners see the entire facility and that they play with the dogs all day long. My dog came home exhuasted from a 3 day weekend, and I didn't worry about him at all while he was there. more

Send your dog on a vacation when you go on a vacation! 3/23/2006

We've been sending our dog to Bone-A-Fide for over a year now. They have a fantastic five acre facility for the dogs to run and play in. Our dog is always excited when she gets there. When she returns, she has had so much fun she sleeps for a day or two! While it is a haul from Seattle, to remove the hassle factor they have several people that will pick up and return your dog from Bone-A-Fide. more

The perfect place for dogs to be dogs! 3/10/2006

The crew that runs theis free-range boarding and day care place is amazing. They love the dogs, and really get to know their regular's personalities. Whether for boarding or day care, my dogs come home healthy and exhausted. No kennels here - dogs sleep 4-5 to a bedroom on dog beds in a house. more

Bone-A-Fide So So 7/4/2005

Big play area, big dogs. Our less agressive, smaller dog was very intimidated and did not seem very happy there. She came home after an overnight with fleas and worms :( more

Bone-A-Fide is the real thing for dogs! 6/27/2005

Bone-A-Fide is a one-of-a-kind Dog Ranch, with five fenced acres of trails and play yards, a huge heated indoor play space, a covered outdoor arena, and a house fully converted to "dog-house" with five spacious overnight bedrooms. But the best part is Emily & Gordon, who built the ranch over five years from Emily's original dog-walking business. They are simply AMAZING with dogs, and they've built an awesome environment and hired a great staff. They offer 'vacation' stays, doggy day-care, and they'll even send the van to pick up & drop off your pooch. From their site: "...special areas for smaller dogs as well as an old-timer area. Our primary goal is to offer a safe and fun alternative to the traditional kennel for well socialized dogs. We cater to high energy, playful personalities, as well as older or just mellower types....." Check it out - they're great. more
