Boehms Chocolates 11/21/2007

If you are a chocolate lover of both dark and milk, you must try the chocolate covered cherries. The dark bittersweet have such a wonderful texture and flavor. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of dark chocolate till I had these. I love chocolate covered cherries on special occasions, but can never find the true ones with the good liquid centers and big cherries in them. These are the real deal, so guys if your lady loves chocolate covered cherries, these will please her. Some may feel they're pricey, but I say they are well worth it, and so is she or he. I always stopped in the chocolate store in poulsbo to pick up chocolates for my friend, never realizing that the store was located in issaquah. I am so there! DJ from Eatonville, WA. more

Locally made chocolates for gifts and treats 8/20/2005

Boehm's is a small old world chocolatier nestled off the side of I-90 in Issaquah. The store is located in a charming, old-fashioned building, and there is an Edelweiss Chalet Chapel next door that is frequently reserved for weddings. I love swinging by here during summer for hand-dipped ice cream, or during December to pick up small holiday treats and gifts. Their chocolate is better than the usual mass-market retail stuff, and it's fun to be able to give something locally made. You can also find Boehm's in a few other locations around Washington state, and some local Safeway floral departments. more

Chocolate that you must have! 8/15/2005

I miss working in Issaquah because I do not have the opportunity to stop in and buy their chocolate as much as I would like. I can't think of a better candy maker around. My favorite are like creamy peanut butter balls covered in either milk chocolate or dark chocolate. Toss them in a refrigerator and enjoy them cold! I hope to get back soon because writing this reviem is making my mouth water! more
