I live near this restaurant and frequent it quite often. It's full service restaurant not a taqueria. Those who call it Sal's though are miss informed. Sal's is a restaurant in Selma owned by a relative of Bobby Salazar, but the restaurants have no affiliation. The food is good with healthy portions. The dim lighting gives the restaurant a romantic ambiance. Theres also a bar in the back which is a good place to go watch the game on the weekend.
