Get there early, great music, great atmosphere 5/22/2007

Ok, I am going to be straight up here. I live in Orlando and I have been going to Bob Marley for years. If you do not like to dance, DO NOT GO! If you do not like to be around a lot of people who are drinking, DO NOT GO! I have never cared for the food there, it is not authentic Jamaican food as they claim. The club scene later in the evening is outstanding though. You can dance under the stars and listen to a live reggae band. When it is crowded do not expect superior service. Pros: Great atmosphere, great music, good drinks. Cons: Gets crowded after 11 pm, average tasting food. more

This is a great club! Whenever I go to Orlando, this is my main attraction. I don't go for food or drinks....IT'S A CLUB!!!! I GO TO DANCE!!!! That's what you do there! The band is great. They play all of the great reggae songs and you won't stop dancing until it closes. Get there early!!! Pros: MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC!!!...also the open air dancefloor(unless its raining!) Cons: gets crowded more

Marley's is always great for hanging out under the stars and grabbing a red stripe or rumrunner!!! They always feature a live reggae band with great music and alot of dancing!!!! It always feels like a mini vacation!! Pros: Great music and dancing under the stars!!! Cons: none more

Not only was the food here not at all Jamaican (my family is Jamaican, I should know), the food was horrible compared to food in general. I ate one bite of my food and couldn't bring myself to torture myself by eating anymore. Our waitress was friendly during the few times she managed to make it to the table. The only decent thing was the live band that played, but definitely did not make up for the horror that was that evening. Pros: Fun band Cons: Horrible food, Horrible service, Waste of money more

EVERY TIME I GO VISIT ORLANDO, I MAKE IT A POINT TO GO TO BOB MARLEY'S, THE ATMOSPHERE, THE MUSIC, THE DRINKS, EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. GREAT PLACE TO MEET PEOPLE. I HAVE NEVER BEEN DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS CLUB. AND SINCE I WILL SOON BE MOVING TO ORLANDO I WILL BE ABLE TO GO MORE OFTEN. I CANT WAIT!! My husband and I had an excellent time at this bar. The atmosphere, DJ, and music is great. A band called Mystic Energy played the night we were there. I really wanted to eat, however, the kitchen closed early; however, the menu looked fantastic. I cannot wait to visit again. We're planning another trip to Orlando, but this time, just to go to this bar/restaurant. We arrived at 9:00 pm and had no trouble getting a seat. If you can get here early do so unless you prefer to dance with the movement of the crowd. When it isn't packed this place is outstanding. I love to move around and feel free to dance and it can be done early in the evening before 11PM. Other than that the place is great food, drinks, and MUSIC!! The food and drinks are marked up for tourist prices so if your local just go for the MUSIC! Pros: MUSIC, open court yard, MUSIC Cons: CROWDED after 11PM, food and drink $$$$, CROWDED more
