Linda of Bob & Linda's is extremely rude but Bob has always been nice. Started out as Sizzler then changed to Bob's then Bob & Linda's. The old saying ""misery loves company"" is so true. Linda must be miserable and tries to make everyone that way too. Poor Bob!!! I have always wanted to tell him that Linda is going to put him out of business. Everyone I know that eats there or has ever worked for her can not stand her. Sign on door says ""CLOSED FOR REMODELING"" but we heard today from a guy that eats there almost every day that the website says that after 48 years they have closed. Bob's dad was original owner. more

Bob & Linda's Steakhouse 10/29/2011

I eat here quit frequently since it is very convenient to my house. The steaks are very good for the price. The only downside to the restaurant is that Linda is not a personable person. She is unwilling to accommodate even the slightest request. My son likes to eat healthy so we asked if he could substitute grapes from the salad bar instead of french fries...NO, no substitutions whatsoever. Instead she wanted me to spend $13 on a salad bar for a 13 year old. Ask for cucumbers instead of carrot on the salad...NO, must pay extra. Is it really worth losing a customer over something so trivial? Pros: good steak for the money Cons: owners completely unwilling to accommodate even the customers that are regulars. more

Excellent steaks and fresh salad bar 1/28/2010

I have been eating here for 40 yrs. I know the owners personally and they are very good people. The food on the Salad bar is all home made and very fresh. If you are on a low salt diet, as I am, any of the steaks or fish can be cooked without salt and the owners were very helpful to me when I was looking on the salad bar for items low in salt. (and they still taste great.) I think the music is soothing and very relaxing while you eat. The staff is nice and always keeps me coming back. Pros: the food is fresh and so is the iced tea Cons: none I love the food I have been eating here for a long time more

Love the Food and Service 11/12/2009

This place was a hidden gem! I ate at Bob's last weekend and it was by mistake. My family was in town and we decided to go out to dinner. We were looking for a steak place and found this place in Famers Branch. I guess this is a Sizzler, just without the name. The owner came to our table to see if all was good which I find is always nice. The server was also quick and always kept my drink filled. Thats a biggie for me! Good food at a good price, you cant beat it. Pros: Best Steak in town more

Don't waste your $$$ 3/9/2009

Ordered T-Bone MR came out well done. When got waiter she took it back. Manager came out and told me I cut it In the wrong place and proceeded to cut it on the large end and told they always have the tender side well done. Ordered salad bar $5.49 and slide the plate over to my guest to try something. Waiter showed up an that I couldn't share salad bar. If didn't have to pay in advace I would have walked out.
