Despite the runaround I experienced trying to get a couple of copies of keys made for my boss's BMW, I was very pleased with the reception I found at BMW of San Francisco. While there were some very stringent rules regarding who could order copies of keys etc. etc. I was happy to find that everyone in the service and parts department (especially the parts manager) was very considerate and helpful, and willing to go out of their way to assist me with my needs. In the end I was able to get the keys in an expedited fashion, and have them shipped to me (to avoid pick-up, which was very convienent). They also had a wonderful beverage and snack bar, which I was happy to help myself to while I waited for assistance. The only complaint I have arose from a misunderstanding about what purchasing copies of keys would entail, as I was not aware that the arm/disarm remote would not be included in the purchase, so please be aware of this if you go to copy keys!
