Blue & White Taxi

I can'y believe how rude the dispatcher was! I've used blue and white a few times to get home from work, and they typically take 15-20 to show up (which is fine). Tonight, thinking to save myself some time, I called ten minutes early. Lo and behold, the driver was there 5 minutes later. As I'm at work, I can't very well leave before my shift ends, so I explained that to the driver and apologized. He told me to call back when I was ready, which I did. The dispatcher yelled - literally raised his voice - at me for calling early. I explained that normally the cabs take a while to show up, so I figured I'd call a bit early. He accused me of deliberately wasting his driver's time. I told him was ready now, and asked if he would send a cab. He asked me if I was ready and berated me again for calling early. I protested, asked for a cab, and we went around in circles like this for a few more minutes, with the dispatcher always harking back to the previous call in lieu of anwering my request. He finally told me he wouldn't send another cab to that address. more

Terrible service. Terrible company. Do not give these people your money! If you call this company they will be rude and there is a really good chance they will just hang up on you. more

Cab driver was rude from the very beginning and then had the nerve to demand a tip from my friend. When my friend refused to pay a tip, the cab driver starting calling my friend a f*****g illegal mexican, which my friend is not. Do everything you can to put this company out of business! more

The third time is enough! This taxi company is always downtown and I unfortunately get stuck taking one of there cabs. Well never again! All three times the driver got lost while not listening to where I lived or just plain went way out of the way! Each time this cost me more than any cab ride should. The last straw however was last Friday. My boyfriend gave the driver $20 for a $15 cab ride. When we got to my house, the driver said he never got the money and charged me $35! I have called the management and they said they would reverse the charges but I have now loaded my phone with other company numbers and will let Blue and White drive right on by! more

Call only if literally EVERY other cab service in town is unavailable. I'd even check to see if there's someone running by with a rickshaw before I ever call these folks again. more

Horrible customer service. My friends ordered a van for 6 people, 3 of them decided not to go, so myself and another wanted to take their spots in the cab. The cab driver overheard our conversation and refused to drive until we got out of the van since we were not part of the original group. We called dispatch because we were upset about the driver, and he was extremely rude to me as well. They also lie and say they don't take credit card so that they get cash payments and don't have to pay taxes. more

I used to take taxis many places. This was not the best company. The drivers are awful, eratic and rude. I now drive mosts places and often see these cabs cutting people off, and driving all over the street like they own it. This morning I was driving to work and a taxi practically ran me off the road and when I honked to let them know I was there he proceeded to stick his arm out the window and flip me the bird! our cab driver name pronounced ""Da-hear"" was amazing. He drove us through the taco bell drive through in St. Louis Park and for that we bought him a gordita crunch supreme. When we got out of the car and into the apartment I soon realized my phone was missing. I know we might have just lucked out with an amazing driver... and maybe it's because we fed him but he answered my phone when we called it and drove all the way to st. louis park after the rush hour of friday night to return my blackberry to me. I had a friend loose her phone in a cab with her other stuff and the company would not help her AT ALL! I am a fan of this company and will be adding their number to my phone book. We had two cars show up to my place, blue & white and black & white. Unfortunately I was in the black & white and left my phone in the back seat...of course it was never turned into lost and found because they were very shady and unprofessional. Blue and White happily is helping track down these jerks. NEVER take Black and White taxi. Pros: helpful more

I took this cab service and im sure it was just the driver, as i have taken many cabs before, but i was with my friend and he had to stop at an atm because the driver wouldnt let him use a card. the driver would not let me out of the car and held me as ""collateral"" so he knew my friend would come back. in the end he did charge my friends card and i had paid with cash bc the atm was out of order and the driver wouldnt stop at another. i have never met a more rude and inconsiderate driver. more

I have been riding with taxi cabs for years. coming from New York, I am not used to having to call a cab, but I have learned to since moving to the twin cities. I have stopped using all other companies locally except, Blue and White Taxi. They are reliable, on time, and for the most part, their drivers know the metro area. I trusted them with the transportation of my mother, that meant a lot to me. Good service and reliable time calls. Pros: on time service, clean cars, knowledgable drivers Cons: high rates more

Blue and White has always been great to me, very punctual and nice. Their staff is the biznitch and they always take me everywhere fast. Idk what everybody else says, but blue and white is always my choice for when going out and drinking or if i need fast and reliable transportation. Pros: really comfy cars, smooth ride. more

This morning 1-10-08 at 5:27am one of the Blue and White cabs (cab # 101) pulled out right in front of me at Shingle Creek parkway and Hwy 252. I was doing 55 mph at the time and had to slam on my brakes to avoid rear ending him. When I honked my horn and flashed my lights the driver opened his window and gave me the finger. If this is the type and quality of drivers they are hiring I would avoid them if you value your life. more

a small group of friends and my self went out to Trappers Bar in Circle Pines. and at 1am we all decided to do the right thing and get a cab. the waitress gives me Blue and whites number. I gave them a call and was told 10-15 min we will be their. They never showed up, so i gave them a call again. after being hung up on by dispatch i called again. when i finnally got to talk to a person they told me no one was in route. i asked if he could get some one and he replied yes 10-15 min. 30 min passed and their was no one!!. i called back at 2:15 am to talk to a supervisor, the man that aswered said he was in charge untill 6am and told me sorry we are busey tonight and their is no one available. WHY DID I GET TOLD two times some one was on the way??? because they don't care!! Luckey the great people at Trappers gave us a ride at 2:30 am to make sure we got home safe. I wish Blue and white would just go out of business so no one else has to deal with what we did. Cons: No one will show up more

They are unreliable, they said a service was on the way to pick me up and never showed up. After I waited for 30 minutes and call to complain they hung up the phone .....3 times! I've never written a rating for any company in the past, but these people got me so upset with the way they treated me that I couldn't let that go.
