I had a few pool techs this year that didn't know what they were doing when it came to my ozone pool until we got Blue Science's Mike Butler to come out. He is very knowledgeable and willing to update us if ever an issue. He came on when another tech dumped DE in our filters and we have an ozone pool so Mike has been great trying to fix the issues. He is friendly and takes time to give us a call and update us on his plan. more

Our experience with Blue Science has been awesome! Pool has never been so clean! It is super clear! Had no idea that our pool was capable of being this clear! Our pool guy Jose Ortiz is the best! He is doing a terrific job for us! He keeps me posted on what needs to be done or if he sees anything that needs to be taken care of. He contacts me whenever something comes up. He is just the best pool guy we have ever had. We could not be happier with Jose Ortiz. We live in Spring Branch and highly recommend Jose Ortiz to maintain your pool! more

needed an insured company 8/30/2013

I had to let go of my regular pool cleaner after he damaged some equipment and then basically said he's not obligated to pay for the repairs. I knew I was saving a few bucks each month using him rather than a service company, but all that is now wiped away. I needed a company with a good history, with insurance, and a guarantee on their. Blue Science looked to be the real thing, so I gave them a call and now after using them for 3 months I can say that they are a solid company that goes out of their way to please customers like me. more

Summer service 8/27/2013

I live in Houston, and everyone at Blue Science seems to go above and beyond what is consider normal in service. I moved in to my house and needed to learn how everything worked and they were all so helpful. I recently had an incident where one of my skimmers got clogged, and initially they could not get out here until Monday. I had a big pool party last weekend for my daughter, and my niece was counting on me to use the pool for Saturday. The technicians (specifically Jesse in my case) squeezed me in to the schedule to make sure the pool would be available. With customer service the way it is today, these guys truly exceed any expectations you might have. I would not use anyone else. more

Unhappy 4/19/2013

I've had Blue Science servicing my pool for three weeks and the pool has yet to be cleaned satisfactorily (same with the spa). I'm paying for the full service, and they have yet to clean the polaris bag and the basket near the pump has yet to look cleaned out. The full service also includes chemicals but the pH has been high consistently. The activities performed during each cleaning are supposed to be documented and left in the control box. This happened once...scribbled on a torn up piece of notebook paper. Now to the biggest problem. After the most recent service, the pump will no longer prime and my water is starting to turn cloudy. This is EXACTLY the same problem that a previous reviewer mentioned in his review on another site. I left a message two days ago and never received a call back. I called again today and got a live human who sounded very confused but said he would pass along my concerns to the field manager. And I haven't even mentioned the billing and scheduling issues. There was one week that their system simply didn't schedule my service. This charge was refunded but so far, every aspect of the service has been extremely disappointing. I'm terrified of what the cost is going to be to have the issue with the pump fixed. I really wanted to support a smaller business with local ties but this has been a disaster and there appears to be no accountability within the organization. more

These guys are really a joke. Poor service, they may or may not show up on the day your weekly service is scheduled. The time they showed up 2 weeks ago they did not even vacuum the bottom. Too many service companies out there to put up with this more

A Huge Time Saver 5/1/2012

With my wife's encouragement we hired Blue Science earlier this month. It was getting tough for me to make enough time to properly take care of our pool. It takes some time to vacuum it - which kept me from doing it every week. We went for the full service plan so it is now vaccuumed every week. Our pool water is now sparkling clean and the floor of the pool looks great after every visit. Great work Ken! We can't wait for the water to warm up so we can start using it this season. I'm glad not to have to worry about getting time for the pool maintenance anymore. more
