Best

This place has the best slices of pizza I've ever tasted. I've had it 3 times a day before. After work, I stop buy for a slice of cheese. They occasionally have my favorite, ""...

Worst

After having once experienced the Cheeseboard, Zachary's and Arinell's, one should simply scoff at the Telegraph tourists and college freshmen that hang out in the wide front awni...

A UC Berkeley feeding trough 6/22/2006

Blondie's has been there forever, at the foot of Telegraph just by U C Berkeley. They've always been just a regular old pizza place, good really cheap giant slices and soda for the college pocket... or the ravenous college mouth, whichever. They don't do anything fancy or special, just dish out big floppy triangles of dough and sauce and cheese that you can cram right into your piehole in between classes or shopping trips. more

Yummy!!! 4/16/2006

Blondie's is by far the best pizza in the world. I was first introduced to Blondie's when I was kid. My family would take trips to Berkeley, and Blondie's would always be the place to eat. Now, as an adult, whenever I go to Berkeley, I must stop at Blondie's. The pizza is to die for, and the atmosphere is great!!!! Not to mention the prices are fantastic as well. more

blondie's! 4/9/2006

Blondie's blends great prices with great taste. The portions are quite big for the price, and whenever I get pizza here I've always enjoyed the taste and quality of the ingredients. Just the aroma itself as you walk past will tell you how good the food is here. Please try it and see for yourself just how good their pizza is! I don't know about other people's experiences with blondie's, but mine have been nothing short of wonderful. more

Blondies Pizza 4/2/2006

Very big pizza slices that are served in minutes. Good pepper shakers and always a late night must for the late night student. Open until 2 am and the slices are still hot when served. Also they have an excellent variety of slices and they are available for very low prices. Very good service and helped me satisfy my appetite when all dining halls were closed. more

Blondie's Pizza 3/29/2006

If you've lived in Berkeley for any time, you've heard of Blondie's. Everyone I know always tries to convince me that their pizza is the best, but I found it to be a pretty standard affair. But in a college town, pizza places are a plenty, so you get the benefit of trying plenty of different places. I found the slices to be small for the money. more

Average Pizza 3/27/2006

Blondies makes cheap and fatty pizza. I really cant tell the difference from Fat Slice or any other pizza place, the taste is pretty mediocre. I would recommend this place for quick bite, but do not expect something spectacular. They have a special of the day, which is some pizza combo they choose, for a lower price than usual. I usually get that to get the most out of my money. more

Unsanitary Conditions 3/15/2006

I know Blondies is one of the most popular places in Berkeley, but after hearing this story I really can't look at it the same way anymore. My friend Grace went there one time and ordered a slice of pizza. You know there's this little area where you can see the guys toss the dough? Well, she was watching this guy toss the dough, and the phone started ringing and the guy tucked the tough under his armpit and answered the phone. She threw away the slice she was eating and left...This did happen a couple of years ago, and I do hope that they did change their standards, but just be cautious... more

Must have Pizza 12/1/2005

When you go to Berkeley you can not leave there with out eating at Blondie's. The pizza is historical. It's a must have. Berkeley wouldn't be Berkeley with out Blondie's. more

Blondie's Pizza 9/11/2005

Good prices for good pizza. I love the daily specials. They're very unique. The pizza slices are big. They have cheap fountain drinks too. Their salads are good too! I highly recommend the miso salad dressing. The salads are very big, and can last me two meals. Blondie's is a popular pizza spot amongst students. There's always very good business. Very cute place. The walls are covered in record covers. Nice ambience. Good place to go with friends for a quick bite to eat. more

Best Bet for Quick Food on the Run 8/15/2005

Blondie's Pizza offers itself as the finest pizza for poor (and out of time) college students. Large slices for a few dollars makes it the go-to place for students looking for some quick food, especially now that across-the-street rival Greg's Pizza is gone. The pizza (and establishment itself) is greasy, and the mood is certainly Berkeley (the workers wearing tie-dye shirts). Running to (or away from) class, or simply strolling Telegraph in the afternoon, Blondie's makes for a good, cheap slice of pizza. more

A slice of heaven 8/9/2005

You can't go to Berkeley without cruising Telegraph. And you can't cruise Telegraph without being tempted by the delicious smells wafting out of Blondies Pizza. A fave of UC Berkeley students, Blondies supplies gigantic slices of fresh baked, thick crust pizza with a variety of toppings. You can be traditional and snag a cheese or pepperoni, with a soda, for under $3.00. Or, you can try one of the many other selections Blondies offers on a daily basis, including vegetarian options. You can also, if you're so inclined, order a whole pie to take elsewhere and eat. Blondies will whip one up for you fresh, and divide it up into large, piping hot slices. Seating is severely limited in Blondies, so it isn't a place to take a crowd. Of course, why would you want to sit in a restaurant eating, when you can take your food to go and sit in nearby Sproul Plaza and engage in some one-of-a-kind people watching? more
