Everyone is friendly, the place is clean and nice. I love that I can book through email or phone. Have had issues not being notified when an appointment is cancelled, I've showed up twice to be told my appointment was cancelled hours earlier. But the staff is nice and usually offers some sort of compensation for my troubles (I drive from Billerica or Worcester). Otherwise, I rarely wait long for my appointment and they've been forgiving if/when I show up late. more

I am more likely to post a complaint than a compliment, which shows how strongly I feel that Blondie is a class act. I have been going to Blondie for over 4 years now. I have been to salons in Newton, Boston, Paris, London and I have to say that I love Blondie. I have been going to Heather M. who is fabulous, she never minds if I come in for a quick fix or if I want her to make me look like a movie star (I am not). She has a great sense of humor and even tolerates my 3 year old (since she was 2). I have been to other stylists once or twice and have always found every one of them to be personable, etc. No complaints. I have used their spa services on occasion as well and have been pleased with those although with the economy, I don't use those as much as I would like to anymore. I recommend Blondie to everyone I can. Reasonable prices, great people, and high quality work! more

Angela is the only one that I would trust to touch my hair. She is an unbelievable artist who is very personable, very talented and I recoomend going to see her more

I've never waiting more than 10 minutes to be seated...  running late happens and is usually because they are spending extra time and effort on the client they are servicing...  I get that same attention so I am ok with waiting a short time when it happens, which isnt often, Thanks Blondie Salon! more

Let me say you don't have to be blonde to go here.  And from my own perspective, it probably doesn't matter what color your hair is to make you want a hairdresser that actually listens to your requests and tries to give you the results that will make you happy. more

And let me stress that when I moved to Boston two years ago, I was petrified that I wouldn't find a hairdresser who could do the job quite like my buddy at home.   But after some online research, I gave Blondie a try, and now I recommend it to anyone who asks me where they can get their hair done in the area without paying Newbury Street prices.  I usually go to Heather who is a sweetheart and she does the job well.  I'd recommend her if you're getting highlights and a cut, which is what I usually do. more

After weeks of having my roots growing out, I went to Blondie feeling embarrassed and self-conscious, my color looked horrible, and my blonde roots were coming in very noticibly. The set me up an appt w/their corrective stylist Amy, and she took excellent care of me. I went in assuming I was going to strip my hair. But she helped me make a better decision that was in the best interest of my hair. It would have made them more money to strip it, but she convinced me that that would be a bad choice. So after making a new game plan, I came out feeling so great. I loved my cut, and new color. The salon is very clean. Small, but nicely set up. Amy was so nice to me, and even wrote down the exact formula that she used on my hair a few times, because I was moving out of state, and that way I could inform my new stylist about exactly what was done to my hair. Just a heads up, they won't let you put your tip on a credit/debit card. So be prepared to tip in cash or write a check. That was a little embarrasing to find out as when you don't have enough cash on hand to give a fair tip. I had a lot done to my hair, so my bill wasn't cheap, if you want a dollar hair cut, go to super cuts, but if you want it done right, and are willing to spend a bit, go to Blondie. more

I am someone who dreads getting her hair done. The people working at Blondies make the experience painless, and even enjoyable. My 3 year old daughter enjoyed her first (and only) haircut there. It is not the cheapest salon around, but I always leave feeling much better than when I arrived. Hair removal people are good too. more

I live in Atlanta, and fly all the way back to Boston every 2 months to have Kim Judkins-Bonadio cut my hair! I have tried other places both in Atlanta, and Boston, and have only been happy with Kim. She truly rocks! It's really hard to get in with her schedule because she only works two days. Its well worth trying to get in to her schedule though! more

Krystin is the only stylist who I  will let touch my hair!  Coming from "I Socci" on Newbury years ago to Blondie was a smart move for me!  Cost alone was a huge factor but in the end, the quality hair care I get tops my reasons for moving and staying at Blondie Salon & Spa! more
