I moved to Texas a year ago and have had one mishap after another with my hair while trying to find a stylist. I had been referred to this salon when I first came to town but never followed thru. After reading the other reviews I ""took a chance"" and went to see Brandy. She is AWESOME!! TOTALLY worth the money. I explained to her that I have naturally curly, very thick hair and that I had to have someone who could ""texture"" it. She not only did a fabulous job on my cut but my highlights are beautiful! I am recommending her to everyone I know. She is fabulous! Thanks a million Brandy. more

after 8 years of doing absolutely nothing with my hair other than a trim here and maybe a diffrent hairstyle every now and then i decided to get highlights and a new hairstyle. i made an appointment with brandy after reading reviews of her on here. i explained to her as best as i could of what i wanted and showed her a picture of the hairstyle i was going for. i did not have high hopes that it would turn out too well because i've never really been thrilled when i've left a hair salon, but brandy did an excellent job. it turned out better than i could have ever imagined. i've gotten tons of compliments and i will definitely go back. thanks brandy!!! more

I am a guy and I went for my haircut and told Nancy (I believe her name was Nancy--light skinned hispanic lady) I wanted my hair trimmed up and cleaned--do something cool with it. I basically said if I was your brother or boyfriend, what would you do with my hair? And Nancy just layered and layered and layered and cut and cut and cut with absolutely no direction! When she was done, I looked like a bell-shaped little dutch boy. I should have taken that $25 and bought scratch-offs and kept my old hairdo. I will never go there again!!! I HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL SALONS OVER THE YEARS. I HAVE THIN HAIR AND IT IS DIFFICULT\r TO STYLE TO APPEAR LIKE I HAVE MORE. BRANDY COLORED MY HAIR WITH 3 COLORS AND\r STYLED IT SO I LOOKED 10 YEARS YOUNGER. I WOULD SEND ALL MY FRIENDS TO HER.\r SHE IS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY CREATIVE. Hair seems to be a difficult task in my book, but once everyone finds that stylist that is ment for them, the task of handling hair becomes easier. Brandy is one of those. She provides ideas and options when it comes to color and style. There have been times that I have let her run with her creativity and I have not once been disappointed. Once we went a with red accents, which I was nervous about, but frankly probably my favorite highlight and lowlight session yet. She always represents her own style in the salon which is good to see. She provides direction when the time comes to styling your hair for a monday morning. She provides step by step instruction. Brandy also presents communicational skills. I can tell her about my day, my life, goal for the future, and she always has something positive to say. When I ask how she is doing, she responds with the same enthusiasm. I have recommended many friends for her services. Pros: over all very well Cons: outside of building is misleading and missing something to attract people more

I went in for an appointment and the hair stylist, Lauren, was late for the appointment. I could have gotten to a barber shop and gotten a better hair cut and would have gotten the hair cut on time. The whole time I was there, they were really pushy about buying their Aveda products. Which, I thought was really rude. This is NOT an aveda salon. They may use and sell the products, but the environment and level of service and quality is beneath SuperCuts. Pros: Plenty of parking and easy to find. Cons: Poor Ambiance, over priced and pushy salesmenship more

I was in a wedding, and went here to get an updo. I didn't really know what I wanted, but had an idea. The stylist, I don't know her name, but she had brown straight hair with red ends, told me that she can leave my bangs out, and put my hair up with curls coming down. I have long, straight, hair...and that sounded nice. Well, she parted my hair in the front, and left hair in the front straight. Then she ponytailed a small section of my hair. I thought she was just ponytailing this hair to keep it out of the way while she worked on the rest of the hair. She curled all my hair which was looking nice, but that's all she did. She curled all my hair, then just took like 4 or 5 strands of random hair that was in the small ponytail and pinned them up on top of my head, and the rest of my hair was left down. It looked horrible. You could see where she parted my hair in the ponytail. She kept telling me how nice it looked, but it wasn't. I was so frustrated when I left. Then when I went to pay, I asked how much...and the cashier just paused, thought about it, and said $60. My friend, the bride, had the same hair length as I did, had her hair straigtened, and styled it an updo, paid $55 for hers. There were 4 of us that went in for an updo, and we all paid different prices. I think they just charge whatever they feel like at the time. I live 5 minutes from there, and by the time I got home, half of my hair had already fallen out. It didn't matter anyhow because I hated the hairstyle anyhow and took it down. WHen I walked in, my husband thought I had left the salon without my hair being finished. To his surprise, that was the finished product. My friend tried to fix it, and said I should take a picture of the hairdo and get my money back. I have never been so upset before over a hairdo. I've had my hair in updos so many times, and this one was ridiculous. I will NEVER return here. more
